I had gastric bypass and Dr Oakley was my Dr in 2008. In 2017 three of my staples came undone from my gastric bypass and I have had severe troubles since. I do NOT recommend this place to have ur weight loss surgery done.

Not a very close bedside manner but otherwise he is AWESOME & THE BEST BARIATRIC DOCTOR I HAVE MET. HE IS THE BEST BOARD CERTIFIED & Director that i hAVE EVER TRUSTED. WITHOUT THIS SURGERY I WOULD HAVE DIED ALREADY--IT SAVED MY LIFE. THANK U SO MUCH DR. OAKLEY--NO ONE CAN EVER REPLACE YOUR SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE. LINDA Mascroft.

If you listen to Dr. Oakley and do what you're suppose to do, you can lose weight and keep it off. I'm well over 10 years out, and I lost over 130 lbs. I have maintained my weight successfully with this surgery by following his instructions. Dr. Oakley is a terrific doctor.
