My parents have seen Dr Hardin for a number of years. On a number of occasions we have asked about my moms swollen ankles & he just said don't drink so much water. We have had multiple issues getting RX refills. Mom is diabetic and on heart meds but never referred to cardiologist. switched doctors and found out my mom is in STAGE 4 KIDNEY FAILURE!!!!!!!!!! His nurse is very unfriendly and only responds to messages when you call the office manager.

Dr. Harden saw me for workers comp and he was the most sympathetic, helpful and caring provider I saw in the 9+ years my case dragged on. I saw him for the last two or three years and he did referrals and imaging requests quickly. My primary provider is retiring next month and I am hoping to see Dr. Harden for general care.

Both my husband and I see Dr. Harden, we find him to be attentive and kind. He's a bit serious which some people don't like. We don't mind this and have no complaints!

Dr. Harden is a caring Physician, I felt comfortable discussing my concerns, my brother had passed away recently and suddenly unexpected from Colon Cancer in the small intestine, he got me a referral to get the screening. He is witty, funny , personable, and explains things so you understand, I ask a lot of questions.

My husband and I needed to find a new doctor and Dr Harden was the only office accepting new patients. Also, not all doctors accept Medicare assignment, but they do. We have been going there for a year and so far have no complaints.

We needed a family doctor in Redding and Dr. Harden was the only doctor we could find accepting new patients. He and his staff have been wonderful! He's great with our newborn, and has been very respectful and thorough with each of us during our new admit appointments. I'm surprised by his low reviews and so far have been very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism.

Went to my first appt. with Dr. Harden. Staff very cold and unwelcoming. No one smiles. My first impression of Dr. Harden was that he was not very happy to be there. Made comment about doctors being forced out of private practice because of today's medical policies. He didn't seem interested in what was going on with me. No examination whatsoever. So hard to find a doctor in Redding. No one is accepting new patients. So very sad that doctors don't care anymore.

We were a little hesitant to make an appointment after reading reviews. However, we are glad we went ahead anyway. We found Dr Harden and his staff to be very competent, kind and efficient. We are happy to have him as our family Doctor!

My mother was a patient of Dr. Harding. When she reached her final days we called Dr. Harden's office multiple times over two days to get a hospice referral with NO response. Patient advocacy attempted to contact him as well as the Hospice agency. Again, No response. My mother has since passed away. Still no response from her doctor. If you care for yourself or your loved on you need to avoid this poor excuse for a professional.

Dr. Harden is smart and gets the job done but he's always in a rush and acts like I'm a burden to him. I don't think he enjoys his job. Not a comfortable atmosphere. Plus each appointment takes well over an hour and a half. His assistant is the worst as she has a terrible attitude and never returns calls. Not sure how she's still employed. Other staff is great though. Looking for a new doctor who hears my health concerns.

He is heartless. Asked to discuss my mother's diagnose with him and I was told me he wouldn't even talk to me because I live out of state. I am so shocked at his heartless lack of response.

Not sure about these comments left from others but i've never had any issues with this office or it's attitude. I've been a patient for quite a few years and he has always spent the time needed and cares about what he says and makes sure he answers questions and i'm good to go.

If I had to choose between dying a slow and painful death and trying to get a life saving medicine from Dr. Harden and his rude office staff, I would choose the slow and painful death every time. No compassion for their patients, no respect, and no professional attitudes to be found in this hive of incompetence.

Horrible doctor. He has no compassion. He also has no respect for other people's time. If you make an appointment, even for something simple such as prescription refills, be prepared to be there an hour minimum.

He has been my doctor, and our families doctor for 13 years. He is super consistent, doesn't over prescribe, and is smart. He is kind and generous. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor that is experienced and doesn't pump you full of pharmaceuticals robotically.

Very poor bedside manner. Can be down right rude at times. Also seems stuck in a rut as to listening to health concerns, not at all open minded. As for the office they are hard to get thru to, and seem very frazzled, and in a hurry. Dropping the ball more often than not when it comes to rx refills and accuracy in billing and charting, which causes insurance problems. Not recommended. They've improved on wait times, now only runs abt 30 min past appt time. That's just to be called back

Just tried to make a new patient appointment and I carry dual insurance. The woman answering the phone told me I had to fill out an initial new patient application to see if the doctor would want to see me. Are you kidding? A tryout to see if you make it into see the doctor. I only called this office because I have a family member that sees Dr. Harden. Maybe the doctor needs to give his front office people a phone script to read as to not completely offend them. I guess Dr.'s don't need patients
