I've been a patient of Dr. Zelman's for over 30 years. Simply the best! Going to miss him when he retires.

Dr. Zelman was awesome. I am a terrible patient and he was firm about what he needed to do, but very kind and understanding with me. He also gave me plenty of time to tell him everything that was wrong, and he listened intently. He is no nonsense, but will still make you laugh. I expressed that I wanted to avoid medication if possible, and he actually sat with me, explained everything, and talked about how we can approach it in a more natural way. His nurse was super sweet too, although I don't know if she is always his nurse or if they rotate. I already recommended him to a family member.

Dr. Zelman is awesome! Helped me with my issue and also very kind, likable, and funny. Would probably hang out with him too, haha - he is cool to talk to. Nicole (who did my hearing test) and front office/support staff are really great as well.

Horrendous. I went to Dr. Zelman for a parathyroidectomy. He is NOT an expert in this surgery-although he thinks he's a rock star! He never read my scan and I don't know whether or not he knew how. The lab I was sent to , NRAD, misread my scan. Coupled with Dr. Z's not reading the scan resulted in a failed parathyroid surgery. In a follow-up appointment , he had the hubris to say that he wanted to try again! I went to Tampa General Hospital, where Dr. Norman performs over 12 parathyroid surgeries a day. My surgery lasted 13 minutes with NO recovery time and NO scar (like the one Dr. Z left me with). My advice: DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND FIND A PARATHYROID SPECIALIST!!!!

Had a very informative visit at Dr. Zelman's office. He spend time discussing all of my past surgeries and history along with my future treatment in detail. His bedside manner was excellent and his staff was very confident. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Zelman to anyone who wants a thorough exam and detailed diagnostic visit. I knew from the past he was selected as "Newsday's Top Doctor's" in his field and his experience along with his wonderful personality explains why.

Dr. Zelman proved to be a masterful surgeon and ENT, and has always demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise in the 20+ years I have been under his care. He is as personable as he is knowledgeable, and is always willing to take the time to make me feel comfortable and answer questions I may have. He has always been on point medically, and has treated me like family. Dr. Zelman is one of a kind and I highly recommend him to anyone needing to see an ENT.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Zelman. He has treated me and both my daughters. He is great with young children, calming her to remove a bead that was lodge up her nose, and with my oldest as well. He has helped us and returned calls on weekends and after hours. He is caring and compassionate. Not seeing him would be a mistake, he is the best at what he does!!!

My 20 year old son and just experienced one of the worst doctors visits we have ever had, ever. First visit I might add. I am not sure how people can rate this doctor with any kind of bed side manner, compassion, listening skills and he has a general arrogance and the oddest behavior. His first sentence was “ whos going to do the talking” ? Then he said ok mom don’t speak, you’re done. He slapped me on my shoulder, used foul language, told me not to speak and generally treated us as if we were 4

He's a straight shooter and I trust him. Ten years ago he removed my sons tonsils and recently my husband saw him. Ten years has not changed how I feel about him. We wouldn't see anyone else.
