The special care given throughout the surgery process. The amount of repair that had been done could only be done by a skilled surgeon and his team. The results are better than I could have hoped for and the site is healing great!

A mass was discovered in my chest. Initial consultation with Dr Wakwe was outstanding. He went through everything with great detail and did not rush the conversation. His staff was efficient in getting additional tests and appointments set up quickly. Surgery was scheduled in an extremely timely manner. The mass was removed successfully and the procedure was thoroughly explained. Dr Wakwe visited daily while I was in the hospital. His staff did an amazing job during pre and post op follow-ups. Dr Wakwe is the best. When we first met him to go over the treatment for my lung cancer he spent an hour and a half explaining clearly what was going to happen and why it was going to happen. The surgery was very involved and he took his time using the robotic technique which resulted in minimal recovery time. This was very appreciated. After the surgery he met with my wife and explained what happened in the surgery. Dr Wakwe takes his time with his patients ~you don’t feel rushed. He is very kind! His staff- scheduling, nurses, and PAs are wonderful! You could not ask for a better and kinder doctor!
