Negligent
She is very knowledgeable, but her negligence in terms of patient care far outweighs that knowledge. It takes multiple calls and messages to get a response, even when the issue is urgent. She always has an excuse.

I visited her on April 28 of this year. She still has not written up the appt notes as of June 10. Based on her referral I had a para thyroid scan on May 11. The results are in and she has not contacted me as of June 10. I have contacted the office once and emailed her twice and have not heard nothing in return. She has not even read my email yet. Very disappointed. Follow up is terrible. I’ve moved on to a new endocrinologist!

Dr. Sarapura is an exceptional doctor. She's been my endocrinologist for over 10 years and she's one of the best. She listens to your concerns and is very responsive to your needs and how your body responds to the treatment. Even when my insurance changed so it no longer covered her, I continued to pay out of pocket for visits to see her because of her level of care. I really trust her and respect her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome endo!

Both times I saw her for a post-screening follow-up appointment it was obvious to me she had not even looked at the results until she was in the room with me. Once she was texting and made a call DURING my appointment and the second time was not even wearing her coat and had her purse around her shoulder. On the last occasion she asked two days in advance that my appointment time be changed even though it had been scheduled 6 weeks in advance and I had already requested off from work.
