True; waiting time is outrageous. I complained directly to Dr. Khetpal, he said he would ask staff to schedule us in the afternoon where it would be less wait time. Guess what, same thing. Wait times were still 2-3 hours.A much bigger problem with Dr. Khetpal is he continuously used same medicine that not working for my mom. He did mention a couple times that he would ask insurance to approve for a better medicine, but never did. We went new clinic, the first thing doctor here did was to submit approval for new medicine which specifically developed for eyes disease. She had new med injected within 2 weeks. In and out time was less than 20min. A whole new experience to us.Note: My mom was Dr. Khetpal ’s patient for more than a year; multiple injections were done on her eyes so this is not one-time thing.

Appt. times are meaningless. You are called in with NO regard as to your appt. time or distance traveled.,,Wait time up to 21/2-3 hours.

Always have a friendly staff and answers qustions to the best of his ability. A little crowded sometimes but not to bad of a wait time.

This is how a medical office should be! From the moment you enter the office, until the second you want out the door, it is a wonderful experience! The staff greet you with a warm smile and that never stops. They are friendly, courteous and informative, all while being personable and helpful! Dr Khetpal assumes people don’t understand eyes and vision and explained everything in clear, precise ways that make sense and are easily understood. He discusses all the options and provides the outcomes to help you make an educated decision. I wish every Medical experience was this pleasurable and helpful!

He performed surgery on my eye for a dislocated IOL that is the internal lens placed in the eye during cataract surgery and mine became detached years later. I was told it was a fairly simple surgery. I could only see light and very hazy shapes even with new prescription glasses when I went for my first checkup after surgery. He did admit that he did not center the lens properly and said he could do it over which I declined. This is not a simple surgery there was a lot of trauma and the general anesthetic kicked my butt. It is now six months later and the eye still aches and tears all the time and for all practical purposes I am blind in that eye. Hopefully another surgeon can correct his mistakes.

I had emergency retina surgery by Dr. Khetpal while I was out of town. I can’t express enough how grateful and blessed I was to have been referred to him. I received excellent care. Since I lived too far, I was referred to another Dr. in my hometown. However they continued to check on me. He and his staff are wonderful, caring, and provide the best service. The very best.

When I was referred to Dr. Khetpal by my local optometrist for repair of a macular hole I was apprehensive to say the least. However, he explained everything professionally, but in layman’s terms with visuals, so that I understood the entire procedure. The surgery was completely painless and Dr. Khetpal’s staff and assistants treated me like I was in a day spa instead of day surgery! Thank you, Dr. Khetpal.
