Dr. Robert Wang, MD

Dr. Wang is very experience and caring patients. But management is too bad and poor. 3 hours waiting for a 10 minutes visit, plus computer was shut down, this is totally not acceptable. Texas Retina Association opens 15 locations with 15 doctors. Each location only schedule one (1) doctor to take care of “ALL” patients. That’s why patients need to wait a long time, just for only one (1) doctor onsite for 10 minutes. Their management definitely needs to improve their doctors-scheduling. If management team care, lovely patients, they shall also consider assign more than one (1) doctor in each location. Yes, this is the way management makes the PROFIT with only one (1) doctor, but it’s definitely showing NOT caring, loving patients, that Patient’s 3 hours waiting is NOT important to them.

Dr Wang is a caring, knowledgeable, professional and I am so thankful to have found him!

Dr. Wong diagnosed my condition as Birdshot Chorioretinopathy and treated it for the past eight years, He has always taken the time to explain the treatment options and to satisfy my concerns. Dr. Wong is a very capable professional and I recommendhim him without reservations.

He is very knowledgeable in his field, attends conferences, and keeps up to date with new advancements. He is patient and friendly and takes the time to patiently, and thoroughly explains what he will be doing or what to expect. His office personal are alway smiling and in a happy mood when they greet you or see you. They are very professional, well dressed, and the office is always clean and in order. I have experience the same waiting time with other physicians or specialists as I do with Dr. Wang. He is an excellent doctor and i do appreciate everything he does for me.

I had a macula hole disease back in Aug 2021. It was on my good eye and my another eye is almost blind due to the carelessness when I was a kid. I found Dr Wang since other ophthalmologists recommended him to me. I was almost corrupsed since I could not see anymore. The epidemic of Covid 19 even made situation worse. Dr Wang gave me courage and assured me that he will treat my diseases. He arranged my surgery from his extremely tight schedules after two weeks. The surgery was very successful! My recovery under Dr Wang’s supervision was also great. The recovery was slow but it went to the good point. Now I can read, watch TV, and drive for some time everyday. I have no problem to do house works at all. Thank Dr Wang, you gave me the second life!

I have seen many different specialists and by far Dr Wang is my superhero! All good things take time. My children have had specialist appointments that fake all day. Going shopping at Costco? know that takes extra time. This dr explains thoroughly, informs you of options and takes consideration of what you want or how you feel about proceeding. Dr Wang has saved my vision and I will drive to any location and wait however long it takes to see him!

Dr. Wang is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever visited. His day is very busy, because he's good at what he does. However, he will take all the time necessary to talk about my condition and answer my questions. No feeling of being rushed.His practice is well run and efficient as you move through the various diagnostic proceedures. What I've noticed over the years is how polite and friendly every techician is. My visits are very pleasant and without stress. I don't think many opthalmologists could make an eye injection pleasant, but somehow he does

His diagnosis and treatment protocol were right on point. He understood the urgency of my situation and scheduled me to see him the day after my regular retinologist contacted him. Dr. Wang keeps up with the latest research and treatment options for Macular Degeneration! An Excellent eye surgeon who is very dedicated to his patients. The wait time is sometimes longer because of all the extra care he provides his patients!!! Excellent doctors like Dr. Wang are worth the wait!

An extremely gentle approach when administering injections directly into the eyes.
