Assume stant who took me back to the room was a no nonsense person, she was very professional though. Dr Romero was very personable and professional. I expected an older doctor and was surprised at his age but I could tell right away that he is a caring person and immediately felt comfortable with him . I se why he is regarded as the best urologist in Redding

Direct and honest

I've been seeing Dr. Romero since 2015. I couldn't hope to find a better urologist. I find him to be an excellent, accurate and confident diagnostician, an excellent surgeon with modern, camera-based equipment, comfortible to be with during appointments and very personable. In addition to some minor treatments, he's performed a prostate biopsy, a TURP and, more recently, a Ureteroscopy to remove a large kidney stone. ALL procedures went as anticipated and the recoveries were virtually as had been expected and explained.

Dr. Romero does his homework, he understands your case, your fears and your hopes. I am very comfortable talking to his about very intimate subjects.

Dr Romero ways takes a personal interest in whats going on with Mom.He did her bladder tumor cancer surgery…was in contact throughout her entire hospital stay which was over a month

The amount of time that he took with me . His calm and supportive demeanor and how he explained everything to me.

Everyone was very nice and polite. The doctor was very polite and actually cared about my problem and gave me a lot of information to help me. I didn't feel like a 15-minute appointment.

Even though Dr. Romero is crazy busy he always leaves me with the sense I'm his only patient and takes the necessary time to address my issue to my satisfaction. Dr. Romero has a great 'bed side' matter and is able to distill medical concepts into layman's terms. If you require urological care I highly recommend Dr. Romero.

Met Dr. Romero for the first time to have gold markers and a gel pad placed prior to starting my targeted radiation therapy. He was very likable and explained the procedure to make me feel as comfortable as possible before and during the procedure, which was greatly appreciated.
