Dr. Lionel Foster, MD

Told me I'd be peeing like a racehorse, well needless to say that's not the case! He totally messed me up, along with several others I know! Stay away from him, he is totally incompetent!!!

A butcher! I'm still having issues years later and doctors have confirmed it is due to his incompetence. I have undergone two subsequent surgeries that would not have been necessary if Foster wasn't a quack!!

Would not recommend at all! I have never written a negative review. Treated a year ago for bladder issues abd prostrate issues. Never was checked for prostrate cancer and a year later under the care of a different urologist a diagnosis of Gleason Disease 9 was given to me. An aggressive form of prostrate cancer that could have been addressed a year ago if the biopsies had been done under his care. He has also never returned calls for prescription refills. I returned to my GP who immediately canceled the prescription from Dr. Foster and prescribed a safer and equally affective medication

Did a surgery on prostate very caring and accessible sure appreciate his wonderful care. Thank you.

Remember I wasn’t consulted on procedure beforehand. Painful. My GP told me other clients had complained. If I could give zero stars I would. Beware.

Dr Foster proved his skills as a surgeon on more than one occasion over the years. We appreciate having him as our mother’s surgeon and urologist. He was compassionate and very observant of our mother. He caught a situation early that others missed. He really cared about her and communicated with us clearly yet with care.

He is a good doctor. Prostate surgery went well. Would recommend him to anyone.

BAD BAD I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DR. FOSTER TO ANYONE MY EX BOYFRIEND HAS HAD A CATHETER IN 8 MONTHS OUT OF 9 MONTHS OF SEEING FOSTER AND THEY SAID THEY CAN'T GIVE HIM A REFERRAL FOR 2ND OPINION BULL***T

He took a biopsy of my grandpa’s prostate WITHOUT waiting for the anesthetic to actually start working. I could literally hear my grandpa CRY out in pain. This man needs to lose his license. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE “DOCTOR”.

Lionel Foster is a straight up QUACK. He has repeated the same surgery 3 times. Now he tells me I have to have a urine tube inserted and a urine bag. I trusted this worthless so called concomitant Dr. Definitely get a 2nd or even 3rd opinion before you believe what comes out of his mouth. The first surgery should have never been done. He's very convincing. PLEASE see another urologist first.

My dad is still having numerous issues after having surgery performed by Dr. Foster. He left clips inside of my dad that have had to be removed by another doctor.

Dr. Lionel Foster Jr performed two surgery's on me for non-seminoma tumors. The best surgeon everything went well.

He his horrible he caused my uncle nerve damage and took his quality of life away do not ever go to him he needs to be sued.

Dr. Foster did a cysto for me. He made it painless.

I read other reviews on here prior to seeing Dr. Foster and was concerned, but it was unfounded. He performed surgery on our 2 year old. The office staff has been completely professional and friendly. Our questions were answered. They helped him and us feel safe. The office was clean and organized. We've been a total of four times with pre and post operative appointments and the professionalism and service has been consistently wonderful. I would definitely recommend him as a physician.

Horrible. Overbooked. No bedside manner. Operated on my mother and would not follow up or keep appointments afterward. His receptionists and staff are less than satisfactory as well. Go to Sacramento or elsewhere for better care.

Bio hazard overflowing, paper on the floor and the paper on the examineation table was not changed from the last patient.
