Dr. Veronica Antoine, MD

My 4th pain management consultation was with Dr. Veronica Antoine at the Formoso Spine & Joint Pain Center in Jacksonville Beach; it was definitely one of the most beautiful experiences since moving to Florida. The wait time was under 10 minutes which was so impressive compared to typical wait times of over an hour - when your in pain this is super important. Within several minutes I felt as if I had met a friend, and not 5 minutes later Dr. Antoine had earned my trust. Our conversation that lasted for at least 20-30 minutes was fun filled, informative, and thorough. She was by far the most caring and professional Medical Doctor that I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. Also, I was so relieved when she offered a Telehealth service for my follow-up appointment. I’m looking forward to our next visit and her recommendations. Thank-you so much Dr. Antoine, you are a treasure and a Blessing. Some may blame the corporate dictates that limit a doctor’s time with a patient to ten minutes. Can a proper discovery happen in this timeframe? I think not. I consulted with a doctor at coastal spine and pain, who suggested a pain management procedure (while sitting in a chair) without so much as performing a basic physical exam? Far too many Pain Specialists have lost the entire essence of what once used to be a Doctor Patient relationship.

I have had a few pain management Drs due to insurance . I have to tell you I was was really skeptical about going, very nervous, especially after my last consult with another pain management clinic. From the first time I met Dr Antoine she made me feel like I mattered, I was more than a medical case. Every single visit I have been on ( mind you I have only been on 3) she knows me, remembers me, and has tried every-time to do something to try to lessen my pain ! She has taken notice to thing going on with & done more for me than my pain management Drs combined ever tried combined just in her compassion alone. That's where Drs are failing today , is not that they don't have skills, they lack compassion. I was blessed to find her who has both. After a while if that can't figure out they just give up on you like what's going on with you doesn't exist. She says she isn't she is going to try to help me & so far she has proven it!
