Dr Chitaley listened when I explained the new dosage is working much better for me. He also shared information in regard to a study of the medication I am taking. He truly cares about my well being. He is an amazing doctor!

The cancer center has a great team. I'm far enough into my treatment that I'm confident of my recovery, but I feel that the loss of Dr. Chitaley will be devastating to a lot of patients. I researched him when I first started treatment and was pleased to learn that he is one of the top oncologists. It concerns me that you are not able to keep him in your team.

I don't think my provider wants to hear MY concerns. He is impatient with me when I ask questions other than about my lab results. I get the impression he is annoyed with me. I only see him every 3 months now so I take the opportunity to ask my questions. He is a good provider during illness but I'm past treatments and still have lingering side effects that I am concerned about.

Dr Umesh Chitaley falsified the documentation in my chart. I was on anastrozole for 2.5 yrs. I told him EVERY time I went into the office with my husband, which was every 3 months, that I had uncontrolled weeping, depression. He dismissed me the first time with his arm extended and a flip of the wrist and told me to see my PCP. I had developed stomach problems and hives during the 2.5 yrs at which he told me to see my PCP. When I told him I stopped taking the medication he asked why I never told him about the depression. We argued and had harsh words over why he did not put the 3 side effects together and take me off the anastrozole. I requested a copy of my records for that day. He lied. He stated that "she had not reported any side effects at all when I had seen her on a regular 3 monthly basis." "She agreed that she never mentioned this to me at all but now agrees to be compliant" He stated "which she has reported only today." I am an RN and know how to document.
