Terrible Experience
This doctor was condescending, did not listen to my symptoms and dismissed my questions. Instead of listening or asking questions, he gave inappropriate advice and made me feel as though what I was experiencing wasn't a big deal or even real. I've since moved on to other doctors who were able to give diagnosis and provide a care plan. Done forever with Avina Women's care because of this experience.

Great doctor - no complaints!
Dr Jenkins has been my OBGyn for over 20 years, including delivering my daughter - - and I have had nothing but positive experiences. He's patient, kind, thorough, willing to listen and answer questions - - no complaints whatsoever.

I am a 43 year old woman, and have never been treated so poorly by a doctor in my life. My typical doctor was having surgery, which is why I had to go to him. Now I know why he had so many open appointments. He started off insulting my regular OBGYN. Then he was very dismissive listening to my symptoms, while he explained the female anatomy to me, and why it works. He then was not gentle at all during the ultrasound and even said to me, "I imagine touching your ovaries is about the same as someone grabbing my testicles in that it isn't comfortable." He was rude, condescending, and dismissive.

am I being pranked?
Dr. Jenkins was probably the most condescending person I've met in my entire life. He seemed annoyed that I was there, as if I was wasting his time. He gave me a very overgeneralized lesson in how periods work before even letting me finish explain my medical history. When I mentioned that I felt rushed, he became even more annoyed and rude. I left in tears. I can't even imagine how horrible I would have felt had I allowed him to do a physical exam. He is the epitome of why so many women don't want a male doctor.

Dr. Jenkins is more than the best Gyn. I've seen; he is better than my GP. He has me do colonoscopies and bone density scans - both revealed issues. He always asks about my total health, listens and offers thoughtful opinions. He checks that I'm being responsible. I trust him completely.

Dr Jenkins’s is AMAZING!!! He’s been my OB/GYN for years. Always patient, answers every question honestly and in a way for some who’s not a doctor understands. He’s helped us through a miscarriage and now a high risk pregnancy. He makes himself available to us, especially when we’ve been experiencing complications. He treats us with respect, and truly cares about our wellbeing. The amount of compassion this man has is amazing. There is no other doctor I would want by my side.

Condescending and acts like you are intruding on his time. This was also the only painful & uncomfortable exam I have ever had. First & last visit to him.

De. Jenkins, to call him something, not only disregarded the fact that my daughter was missing the left side of her heart, he didn’t even know because he never checked on the 20 weeks anatomy scan. I was lucky to travel later to Spain to visit family and find caring medical professionals that told me my daughter had no chance at living and gave me the option of ending her suffering. This guy is a joke, no bedside manners and I guess he just wanted to get paid for the delivery of an extremely I’ll baby that would’ve died right away

I went to another practitioner in this practice for years but I was seen by Dr. Jenkins during my first miscarriage and his warmth, kindness and empathy was overwhelming. My husband and I had a hard time getting pregnant with our first child and he was there with us every step of the way and put his own schedule aside to make sure he was with us for her birth. He is always very straight forward with us and extremely proffesional. I wouldn't want any other doctor handling the lives of my children

This is my first pregnancy and so I’m not sure what to expect. I gave Dr. Jenkins a chance in the beginning because he didn’t seem too bad at first. The more visits I did with him the lower self esteem he made me felt. He didn’t seems to want to answer any questions and when you do he made you feel stupid for asking it. Today he seems annoyed and was very rude to me. I find myself crying on my way back home. Your pregnancy experience shouldn’t be like this. I changed doctor on my last trimester.

Dr. Jenkins made it possible for us to experience unknowingly, what would be, and as we now know- the best part of our lives (though incredibly scary). Having difficulty with becoming pregnant is completely frustrating and a sad, lonely experience. Dr. Jenkins was very thorough and made the process seamless. He gave us the plan., and we stuck with it. When the time was right, and we became pregnant,,, he made sure we knew what to expect and eased our concerns as well as my anxiety. Love him!

I am convinced that my son, born full-term and healthy despite an incompetent cervix, was the result of Dr. Jenkins' wisdom, kindness, and action. I am forever thankful to him! He is an excellent doctor with a great bedside manner. I would recommend Dr. Jenkins to family and friends without hesitation.

Very rude and disrespectful- said while measuring my belly button 'your other children wrecked your belly button'. What kind of OB says that to a patient and a pregnant one at that. HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER
