I went to Dr. Else after finding a cyst in my abdomen. During the appointment he was respectful and kind, insisting that it looks benign but he will follow up after he had a chance to speak with colleagues the next week. After 5 weeks and no word, I decided to contact him and follow up. After another 7 weeks go by he sends a brief response to my message and did not address my concerns. While his bedside manner was polite, he was very difficult to contact and shows little interest in patients.

I found Dr. Else very friendly and an excellent listener. He explained my condition in much more detail in an easily understandable manner than anyone I have had treating it before. The result of my original problem had turned into a dependence on medication that I apparently did not need anymore and side effects attached to its use. Dr. Else used exact measurement to determine how much I needed in the future and a reasonable plan of withdrawal. I am now no longer on the medication.
