Dr. Timur Gusov, MD

Never listened to me, and I called him out on it many times. 1st impression was that he was not very nice, when i told him i was trying to quit smoking he said what is wrong with you, just quit!! i was told he was a thyroid specialist, yet i saw him and only him at my endocrinologist appts for the next 10 appts. He was the one making adjustments to my insulin pump, reading and ordering labs, and its probably worth me adding that he was not very professional. He is gone now, and Boone medical stated they wont see me anymore due to me not having my labs done before my visits, which was untrue, i live in Jefferson city, and their office is in Columbia. Dr. Gusov was having me go down the hall to the lab AFTER every appt. and reading them before my bnext appt. ALSO THIS OFFICE IS 100% HORRIBLE ABOUT RETURNING PHONE CALLS AND MULTIPLE CALLS AND FINALLY A COMPLAINT TO INSURANCE WAS THE ONLY REASON THEY FINALLY RETURNED MY CALLS!! THIS WHOLE OFFICE AT LEAST THE ENDOCRINE PART IS A JOKE!!

Horrible doctor, came off defensive when I asked any questions and wasn't going to recommend RAI treatment even though 2 other doctors did, ENT Surgeon and Radiation Oncology. Seemed irritated when my ENT surgeon had given a script for thyroid meds.

He is very thorough and cares about his patients.
