Excellent physician!
Dr. Degueme is always very pleasant and takes the time to listen to any issues that I share with her. When I first saw her for my thyroid problem, I was very fatigued and my hair was falling out due to a horrible treatment plan from a different medical provider. Dr Degueme took me off all the weird medications and supplements I was on and started me back on the medication I should have been on. Since that time, I have trusted her advice and care and I feel 100% better!

Dr Degueme is kind and caring. I like how she spends time with me and works with me to find a plan that works for me. I started seeing her because of an issue with my thyroid, and we got that taken care of quickly. Now she is helping me with weight loss. When I falter, she is positive and encouraging.

I waited a month to see her. Then when i finally got in and expressed my concerns she told me that there could be several things i could do about my weight. I took some blood tests and then i called to schedule a follow up appointment. The person who called back i could barley understand what she was saying and told me that i had to follow up with my primary care doctor. I guess she didn't want to help me. I did not want weight loss surgery or want to take any drugs. Now what do i do????

Dr. DeGueme is an endocrinology ninja. She is well-versed in the arts of fighting hyperglycemia and dodging hypoglycemia and understands well the dark magic that is diabetes. Dr. D stays on the cutting edge of research and technological developments and, at the same time, takes a pragmatic treatment approach that demonstrates an understanding of day-to-day life with the D. A faulty pancreas is no match for her. As a career diabetic and longtime insulin pump user, I have never met a better endo.
