Dr. Thomas Tegt, MD

It’s been truly a blessing to be a patient of Dr. Tegt. I have never had the doctor call me back instead of a nurse to answer my questions. His genuine caring & concern for my health was above & beyond! Even when it was determined my medical issues were not related to my ears, Dr Tegt helped me find other options and gave me references. I can’t thank Dr. Tegt and his Staff enough for all of their kindness and patience. I would recommend Dr. Tegt to everyone!??????????

Dr. Tegt was knowledgeable, informative and reassuring during our experience with our 10 month old who needed tubes. He was direct and to-the-point which made the process smooth, easy, and hassle free. He wasted no time and we had our appointment for consult and surgery within 24 hours. We were grateful for all the wonderful staff at Dr. Tegts office and the surgery center. Everyone was warm, friendly, and reassuring of us during the process. We were in and out and back home resting comfortably within hours while still feeling well-informed and prepared for each step. We would recommend ENT Nebraska to anyone!

I went to Dr. Tegt because two other doctors saw abnormal growths that were multiplying & felt a biopsy was needed & an ENT would be able to get a larger sample. Dr. Tegt completely disregarded me when I tried to explain my abnormalities & worsening symptoms. He treated me like a piece of trash & told me the other specialists are wrong. I got a second opinion & they immediately scheduled a biopsy. It’s one thing to have poor bedside manners. It’s another to treat others as less than human.

Super Doc, some people think he doesn't have a good bedside manner, they don't understand that he is a very confident surgeon top notch. He fixed my sinuses and I feel great even 20 years later I still have not had issues.

I don’t need someone to hold my hand, just fix my son’s chronic ear infections! Dr. Tegt answered all my questions, and had my little guy giggling about Minions while he examined him. He was very aware and considerate about his pain level, I don’t know what that previous reviewer was talking about that he shouldn’t work with kids, he seemed like a natural. He took care of it and my boy is as right as rain now. No problems with scheduling or insurance. Total pro.

Approachable Confident. Explained the procedure and answered our questions He made sure we were comfortable with the procedure our son was going to have.

Do not go to this guy! He removed an abcess from my throat and never let the anesthesia do it's job before he went in to cut it out. Worst pain of my life.

Yeah, he can be a little abrupt. But he's a great doctor! The scientific mind can sometimes not have the warm-fuzzy turned on, and he does exude an alpha-male discipline in building his practice, but he did my son's tonsils twenty years ago, and he did my sinuses this summer, and I'm very happy with the results. His procedures I liked better than the other two doctors I had interviewed, and his office dealt with my insurance company, so it was no hassle for me. He answers all of your questions.

I have 3 boys that have all had surgeries with Dr. Tegt. I think he is great & to the point. He checked on the boys and was very informative. He's done 2 sets up tubes and 3 tonsil and adenoid removals on my boys.

I've had nothing but positive interactions with Dr. Tegt. This is true for myself and my 2 year old daughter. After explaining things, always asks if there are questions. Personally called me about my CT results the same day of the test. Very impressed!

I've been going to Dr. Tegt for 4 years and he has been great! He has helped so much with my chronic sinus infections and getting my allergies under control. I would highly recommend Dr. Tegt to anyone!!

Probably a good surgeon but horrible bedside manner. Does not explain things barely talks to you, very short with answers to your questions, dismissive. Would never recommend to anyone.

Took my 3 year old to see him to assess her need for tubes (to address repeat ear infections), and he was horrible with her. Worst bedside manner ever. Should not work with children--he did not speak to her at all and was very rough when examining her. She was terrified.
