Dr. Thomas Smith Jr, MD

My father became a new patient of Dr. Smith's in Sept of 2024 and had been complaining of a persistent cough and rapid weight loss. Had a rational and skilled doctor taken the time to review my father's recent history of multiple lung surgeries to remove solitary fibrous tumors that rational and competent doctor would have obviously ordered a CT scan to see if the symptoms my father was experiencing was related to his tumor surgeries. Dr Smith chose to ignore these facts and proceeded to refer my father for an endoscopy , and a gastric test. By the end of November another doctor order a CT and we discovered a massive 6 inch by 2 inch neoplasm on his right lung protruding into his trachea and Superior Vena Cava, which explains the loss of voice, cough, and weight loss. Had Dr. Smith ordered a CT earlier , we would have caught this tumor earlier which can make all the difference in treatment strategies. I cannot understand how someone with his experience would drop the ball this badly

Did nothing for me! Diagnosed me with depression! I was in alot of pain! Took months to get referrals. I had an injury, he decided I was depressed and needed no help! I set up my own appointments and got help for myself. There was so much incompetence with my tests not being done and wrong info given to xray providers. I actually took control and got my own help!! NO DOCTORS EVER AGAIN!
