Dr. Maria Tedtaotao, MD

Front desk staff is beyond rude. Dr Ted seems to always forget what the visit is for. And then always tries to push labs, shots and tests that are unnecessary. Expect to say over an hour for anything.

We had an appointment in early November and mentioned that we needed a medical clearance for a surgery in early January 2023. She said to schedule an appointment in late December. So, we went to our December appointment and now she says we need a cardiac clearance as well. The earliest we could get that appointment is AFTER the surgery date. The next available date for surgery is late March 2023. This office has dropped the ball AGAIN. We have trouble getting lab orders sent to Quest and it's gotten to where I no longer trust this provider. So, beware.

My entire family goes to Dr Ted and Sam Pate NP….We absolutely LOVE them!

Stay away from this practice!!!! Only after your money. They do not care about patients, will not answer the phone or return calls and neither will the nurse staff. Carrie is rude and her attitude is disgusting. They will ask you to wear a mask and the entire office staff do not wear one. Dr. Tedtaotao will call you “Baby Girl” every breath she takes. It’s unsettling. She is nervous and agitated and will send you for diagnostic laboratory and non laboratory tests that are not necessary. She is late to telehealth appointments and takes personal phone calls during these appointments. Your health information is not private at this practice! Beware! The entire practice knows your business with Dr Tedtaotao.

If you are someone who needs a doctor you can count on, look somewhere else. I can not recommend her. The reasons are too numerous to list here.

Sign out front of her office says accepting new patients. Called to get a new patient appointment. Had to provide personal information, medications, insurance numbers, etc.. Was told I would have to have my information reviewed by the doctor and she would determine if I would be "accepted" before an appointment could be scheduled. It has been 2 weeks and still no return call. Accepted without question to another local doctor without any questions asked. Forget using this practice!!!!

She was great in the beginning and came with glowing reviews from friends. Now? It seems like she's overwhelmed with too many patients. Wait times are atrocious (I waited an hour and a half once), and she's become forgetful. She's forgotten to renew prescriptions before, as well as look into medication issues I've expressed. She even somehow forgot about a heart condition she diagnosed me with, acting surprised that I had it when I brought up I was having issues a year later.

Since moving to Florida almost three years ago, I have tried to find a primary care physician like the one I had for 25 years before moving. Dr. Tedtaotao is that person. She is caring, thorough, and professional. She has a friendly demeanor that made me instantly comfortable with talking to her about my health needs. She took time to learn about my health history and to answer all my questions. Her staff was also friendly. I would recommend Dr. Ted to my family and friends.
