Dr. Koenig is a knowledgeable, courteous, thorough, and compassionate physician! He and his friendly staff treated our 4-year-old son with care after an arm injury. They all took the time to ensure our young son was comfortable and at ease during treatment. (Mom and Dad, too!) They continue to go above and beyond in explaining every detail about treatment! Here, patient care is top priority. Their quiet office setting was a blessing after a harsh, cold, and uncaring experience with KOC. I highly recommend Dr. Koenig to anyone!

My dad had one of the worst cases of osteoporosis I have ever seen. If you even blew on him, he would break a bone. Dr. Koenig took care of him for the last 11 years of his life and gave him a great quality of life. On top of that, when Dr. Koenig read in the local newspaper that my father had died of a stroke, he called my home to offer his condolences. In the 56 years I have been alive on this planet, NO doctor has ever done that! When I had a strained muscle in my neck and thought I was on my way to another fusion, Dr. Koenig got me to the right therapist to get me the help I needed. Thom Koenig is the best orthopedic surgeon in East Tennessee, bar none! He is conservative and will not operate on you unless he just does not have any choice.

One of the best doctors that I have worked with. He takes time to explain in layman terms. He was not quick to put me under the knife. He is helping me manage my issue until surgery timing works better with my age so as not to replace the joint several times in my lifetime. When I first saw a doctor for my condition, they were ready to cut me within two months, as soon as it could be scheduled. I went to Dr. Koenig for a second opinion and have been treated by him since.

Dr. Koenig has done a knee replacement and a hip replacement for me. I had no problems with either procedure. I have heard horror stories about other people having infections and problems with their replacement surgeries. If I need anything else done he will be the doctor to do it. I would recommend him to anyone who has knee or hip problems.

Dr. Koenig was focused on my problem 100% and not rushing out the door to get to the next patient. He listened to my explanation, thoroughly examined my injury, discussed treatment options, and advised me in making the proper choice of care. I arrived practically in tears from the pain and left walking! Thanks again

Dr. Koenig is very conscious and thorough. He explains treatment options and ensures that the least extreme treatment option is explored for efficacy prior to moving forward. He has treated my tendonitis, and he performed my rotator cuff surgery. I am 100 percent satisfied with Dr. Koenig, and I recommend him without reservation.
