Dr. Cates explained in detail the surgical process and the requirements to prepare for it. I left the appointment confident that I was in good hands.

Dr. Cates is someone that knows his medical craft and has an excellent manner with his patients. He is soft spoken but will tell you what you need to know about your condition. My husband healed so quickly from his knee surgery and we now consider him our family orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Cates is well known as a great orthopedic surgeon who is very knowledgeable and skilled in his field and very supportive of his patients. He replaced both of my arthritic knees and one hip joint. Have had great results with all 3 replacements and can do anything I could before joint deterioration without pain. Dr. Cates is a great surgeon and person! Will have him replace my other hip joint when it becomes necessary.
