Dr. Thomas Ahern was my cardiologist after my quadruple bypass for over 14 years until I moved back to another state. He was always very personable, always explained things in terms I could understand, was always very attentive to my concerns and never rush through my appointments. I highly recommend Dr.Ahern to anyone who wants a cardiologist who will take excellent care of you. I am just sorry I left his care.

Dr. Ahern and his staff are some of the best. He treats me for two separate heart conditions and has for over a decade. He is knowledgeable, will draw diagrams for his patients, and, is compassionate. I’m lucky to be his patient.

He sends his Physican Assistant in to get the history (which took 45 minutes) because she couldn't answer our questions. After waiting two hours to see the doctor he spent less than 5 minutes with us. The office was kept at 69 degrees, everyone had jackets on expect the elderly patient and her caregiver. Kind people but not concerned about patients comfort or time.

Dr. Ahern does not accept patients directly. All appointments are with PAs that have memorized a script. After many years of being a patient, did not receive adequate diagnosis or care. Conditioned worsened and had to seek treatment elsewhere.

For one he saved my life.Dr. Ahern has the ability to really listen. make a patient. feel he has all of the time in the world, even though he is already falling behind, He is also one of the brightest men I have met.and strives to provide the best care for you. He is compassionate and sensitive. He also has published papers, has patents on medical devices. He is and honorable man and I don't say that lightly. He is a highly respected M.D. but many. And last has a great sense of humor.
