He is very serious about healthcare.
I saw Dr. Lam after a friend told me he does things by the standard guidelines. Also, he doesn't overcharge like some of my prior doctors. He often reinforces the highlights of my labs and radiology studies in laymen's terms so that I can digest the important points. He does get emotional when discussing my health to a point where I feel he genuinely cares. The front desk lady is friendly to deal with and tries to accommodate my schedule to the best she can.

He genuinely cares about my health..
Dr. Lam wants to understand and care about my health more than many other physicians that I have ever met. I have seen many doctors in my life that put money above patient care. It is hard to find someone that really cares and worries about my health much more than money in his pocket.

He is super knowledgeable, caring, and a great clinician. This doctor is always on time and a great listener. You can tell when someone is in your best health interest. Dr. Lam listens attentively to the problems and tries to do what's best. The haters' comments are probably from competitors or from people that didn't get the things they wanted such as certain unneeded medications, ineligible forms for leave of absence, disability, or other forms that the patients are unqualified to obtain. Dr. Lam does things by the book; he is not a low life that just tries to please his patients, giving them whatever they want. I know some doctors give their patients whatever they want even though it may mean breaking their ethical beliefs just for monetary gain. If you want your doctor to do whatever you want then you don't really need a real doctor like Dr. Lam.

Not a caring doc
Terrible bedside manner. If you like tough love, this is for you because you won't get someone who listens or cares. Makes you come by for unnecessary visits.

A terrible doctor!
Office is messy and disorganized. All medical records lay on the floor, counter and window. Talking very loud and no privacy at all. Treat senor patients with bad attitude and yelling. He likes to ask you what medication you want today? So ridiculous!

Very empathetic towards patients. I can see that he wants to serve his patients and help them as best as he can, and enjoys his job. Not like many doctors who just see a line of patients for the sake of ending the day. His office is small and quite messy, only one other staff but it's never crowded with patients so the wait time is very short. Can walk in without appointments and only have to wait 15-30mins. He will spend a lot of time with you for best care quality!
