Does not listen to patient
I was in my 30's, had immense period pain/bleeding, and knew I never wanted kids. She wouldn't talk to me about an endometrial ablation for well over a year. She made me to go on the pill for a long time before considering it. I was forced to put chemicals in my body because in HER opinion, I had no right to make that decision. I was unmarried (by choice) and had absolutely no desire for children. Having 3 kids at the time and pregnant with her 4th, she simply wouldn't hear of it. She deemed that to be her decision instead of mine. Her air of arrogance and the way she treated me like a child was completely unprofessional.

Best Obstetrician!
I can’t relate to the negative comments about Dr. Knipper, because since day 1, my experience with her has been nothing short of amazing. Over the last couple years, she’s not only cared for me, delivered my first child, and treated my life-threatening ectopic pregnancy, but she’s very knowledgeable, listens intensely to my questions and concerns, and follows up with me as needed, making sure to address my needs. I don’t know where I’d be without her and am so incredibly lucky to have found her on the healthgrades app!

Swore I had gestational diabetes… WRONG. Swore I had a huge baby… WRONG. Tried to intervene unnecessarily multiple times during my pregnancy. Condescending attitude. Do not recommend.

I went in for treatment related to an unfortunate ectopic. When I woke up from anesthesia, my husband and I were told that Dr. Knipper had removed one of my ovaries because of cysts. Another physician in the same practice shared with me that he never would have made that decision while a patient was under anesthesia unless the tissue appeared to be cancerous. I was devastated and it negatively impacted my mental and physical health, my marriage and my ability to have children in the future. All in all? My experience was traumatic, to say the least. If I had to do it over again, I would have spoken with an attorney before the statute of limitations expired.

Dr. Knipper is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Not only are her clinical skills and knowledge pristine, her bedside manner is the best I have ever seen in a physician. She is SO patient and kind. She is thoughtful and she KNOWS her patients well. She has her patients' best interest at heart and she treats you like her family. You feel like her only patient of the day because she spends as much time as YOU need with her. She is absolutely incredible. I will never see another OBGYN.

Dr Knipper is calm, caring, expert and a talented surgeon. She talks to you and lets you know she cares about you as a person and a patient. It is clear she loves her work. She is up-to-date on GYN care and tailors treatment to each patient. So fortunate to have her as my physician.

Dr. Knipper is very patient centered. She's very matter of fact and is honest about all options, tailoring treatment to the individual, versus taking a cookie cutter/standard approach. I appreciate this because docs don't have cookie cutter patients.
