Dr. Tara Denke, MD

When our primary and secondary OB’s were both out, we were scheduled with Denke. We had discussed with the nurses prior to Denke coming in that we wanted a membrane sweep and that we wanted to discuss induction dates. After a painful cervical check (more or less out of Denke’s control, I get that) she was rushing us out the door. We had to remind her of the membrane sweep prior to the cervical check and we had to remind her about talking about induction dates. She seemed very much doubtful that we’d be able to get an induction, and made it quite clear, but in a very unprofessional way. Definitely would not recommend Denke, as previous reviews have said her bedside manner is quite awkward. Not especially compassionate. It seemed like since we were not her patient (as I mentioned before she was our third choice for this date) she was not as invested in us and wanted to make the appointment as quite as possible. She never even asked if we had any questions.

Although she is knowledgeable, her bedside manner is awkward. She also lacked the compassion we needed after unexpectedly losing our baby later in our pregnancy.

I ABSOLUTLEY loved Dr. Denke it has been hard moving away and had to miss my first yearly exam with her :( I am healthy so I didn't have to see her for much but my yearly exams and she always knew me! So kind and real.
