Terrible, scary experience
Dr.Showers was absolutely horrible. She did not listen to any previous medical knowledge about my condition, was rude and lied about my care. I felt unsafe with her as my Dr. She seemed to enjoy causing discomfort, I'm serious, it was scary. She was not interested in helping, only inflicting discomfort to boost her own ego and liked to remind me that since my condition is very rare, that she didn't need to contact my specialists, since she read about it in med school. I have never felt unsafe around a doctor, but she was terrifying.

Dr. Showers is a hospitalist and was seen a SRMC. Dr. Showers is likely a technically competent physician but lacks empathy, has poor communication skills, does not take her patient's input into consideration and is often duplicitous in her communications.
