Dr. Michael Chartrand, MD

I guess because my last doctor in CO was so good as a genterologist I had high hopes for Dr. Chartrand since he was also listed as a genterologist. His bedside manner to me was fine but he basically was indifferent, bordering on rude, to my husband. He was concerned about my vaccination record, never enquired about my husband's and never encouraged him to get any. The final straw was when my husband had an appointment, waited 1.5 hours and then saw the doctor walk out of the building. We checked in with the reception desk and was told we would now have to go to the urgent care part of the practise, where he had to wait another hour. I was livid as my husband was ill. If we had been told at the start that Dr. Chartrand wasn't going to be available then we would have gone to urgent care to begin with.We received a letter saying that Dr. Chartrand is no longer accepting our insurance, when I called the practise I was told he is no longer employed there.

He's very nice tells you everything takes care of your meds

Dr. Chartrand has a great sense of humor and makes it quite comfortable to talk to him. He has given me excellent care and follow up. So glad he is with the Lovelace Health System.

I am very grateful to have Dr. Chartrand as my doctor. He is thorough, explains everything well, and listens to my concerns. I appreciate his knowledge, skills, and his level of caring.

Personable, caring and knowledgeable. I feel truly fortunate to have this man as my doctor.
