Dr. Susan Bunch, MD

If you need to be coddled, please don't see this provider. She is very honest and blunt. She delivered both of my babies and is an amazing doctor. A lot of the negative reviews come from people who are overly sensitive about her being honest with them.

She delivered my first child many years ago. I still remember the trauma dealing with her. She was rude, unprofessional and condescending. A nurse in the hospital was mortified by the way this doctor was talking to be. Unfortunately I was young and too naive to stand up for myself. Would be a much different experience today as I would not tolerate this person. Avoid her at all costs. She needs to be brought to the attention of a review board.

Most unpleasant women's health exam experience I have ever had. I felt like she wasn't listening to any of the concerns that I had. She said I would need testing to diagnose any problems then didn't order any. She said my problems would get better magically if I lost weight, which they didn't. She started the appointment talking about how she would rather be delivering babies than doing annual exams. She talked down to me the entire time and talked over me and interrupted constantly. The whole time I felt like I was inconveniencing her by being a patient. She just wasn't friendly and had a bad bedside manner. The other office staff is great though. Everyone else I encountered was helpful and friendly.

So, this was my first visit and I'll never return and I wouldn't recommend that you go to see her. She is very rude. She asked why I came to see her. I tried to explain and she said did you not hear me? Listen carefully...I had a medical issue and she is my fault that my menses came on and would go off for over a month. I'm wondering how would you know. You have no idea who I am. This is my first visit. She tried calling me a last on almost everything I said and in her opinion which doesn't amount to half a cent to me is that I need to lose wrought because I am very obese and I should make an appointment with my PCP to discuss this. There are great ob/gyns in Louisville, KY and I can say with all certainty that she's not even a fair doctor. Go at your own risk. She's straight trash in my opinion.

She has an akward bedside manner and can be very blunt. Rude even. When I had issues with morning sickness and was losing weight she said it was fine since the baby was gaining appropriately and I was overweight anyway. She refused to give me anything for nausea and I lost over 40 lbs in 6 months. At one visit she asked if I had ever considered weight loss surgery and I should think about it after the baby was born. Not something a pregnant woman wants to hear :/ (I was only 250 lbs at the time) Needless to say after all the issues and the stress and anxiety it caused I've switched doctors and wont be going back to her. Plus the 2 to 3 hour waits at appointments was common and annoying.

Dr. Bunch has always listend to my issues and showed nothing but care in her office. She delivered my son and my grandbaby. I Love this doctor and would recommend her to anyone.

Stay away from this doctor. She is rude and doesn't let you ask question.

This offers caters to pregnant women. So if you expecting go here. But if you have other female medical problems go elsewhere or you will die in the waiting room. i was often left 2 or 3 hours at time while pregnant women would come in and walk on back. one time i feel asleep in the waiting room i had been there so long. i woke up and asked up front if they called me back because i had feel asleep and missed it , she said no , at that point i had been waiting for 2 1/2 hours.

I LOVE Dr. Bunch!! She is very straight forward and to the point. I also find her very compassionate towards her patients. I have been going to her for years!

She is amazing! Very understanding. She delievered my daughter in 2012 and i decided to go to her for my second child!
