Dr. Suraj Bolarinwa, MD

Terrible. I had a total knee replacement with him and a few weeks later he was gone from the practice with no notice. I have to have a revision of the surgery because it was done incorrectly. I had to start over with other orthopedic surgeons and have had over a year of pain in the knee despite much physical therapy.

Met Dr Bolorinwa in December 2022 & liked him. He replaced my right knee in January 2023. Subsequent visits he appeared distracted and indifferent to the excessive swelling and inability to straighten the knee. Vigorous PT and knee would not straighten. Had MUA (by different doctor) followed by more PT. Still could not straighten knee. Finally went to specialist in failed knee replacements who surgically replaced the too large part Dr Bolorinwa had installed. Had I not had that revision I would NEVER have been able to walk normally. Both the dr who did the MUA and the revision were excellent.

Dr. Bolawinra did a total hip replacement yesterday on me yesterday and I came home the same day. My pain level is incredibly low. He is amazing with the robotic anterior approach technique. He listened and ordered everything I needed. The medication was ordered before the surgery so we didn’t have to stop one the way home or have someone go back to the pharmacy as is the traditional approach. He is a blessing. Answered all my questions on my list and then some.

Dr. B replaced my knee 2 months ago and I want to shout out how much I appreciate and admire this surgeon and the team who supports his work. From my first visit I knew I was in good hands as he explained my condition and treatment plan in precise terms. He provided me with a booklet that explained absolutely everything that would happen from that visit through the entire process. I knew what equipment I'd need to get, what support I'd need, and how to go about each task. I had questions, called his office and he returned my call promptly and took the time to answer all my questions. After the operation, he was attentive, stopped in my room several times a day to monitor my progress, and was always warm, personable, and kind. He is encouraging and yet very realistic and honest about what to expect. At my 2-month visit he showed me my new hardware, explained the healing process, and what I can anticipate over the next few months. His smile is infectious & joyful, so glad he's my doc!

My appointment was a very professional one with all of the staff. The doctor was kind, very understanding , The doctor took time to ensure I understood how to interpret the X-ray.
