Very thorough.
I have been seeing Dr. Jee for about a year now and he is very thorough, which is great for someone who is immunocompromised. His bedside manner is lacking in that he often states his personal opinions, despite how invalidating it might be to someone. He does his job though so if you want to be healthy and don't mind the bedside manners, try him out!

Overcharges and over prescribes
Every time I go for a physical I get a bill for the copay because apparently if he brings up anything, wether it pertains to my health or not, it’s now just considered a normal visit. Also he continues to send prescriptions to the pharmacy that are double the dosage I require for conditions and by the time I realize I’ve already got home and you can’t return pills. He also goes on rants that you can’t stop him from doing, causing what should be a 10 minute visit to turn into 45, which he will then charge you for even though you didn’t ask him about any of it. His availability is also bad.

I disagree with Dr. Jee on some medical things, mostly involving the role of weight/BMI in health outcomes. Because I'm an informed patient I just take the advice I agree with and leave what I don't. That said I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Jee for being a doctor who takes his patients' symptoms seriously, for being thorough, and conscientious. On my first visit he noticed that one of my tests was elevated. This test was ignored for years by other drs! When I got seriously ill a few years later, I would have had to undergo months worth of tests while extremely sick and worried. Instead because of Dr. Jee's willingness to take concerns seriously I already had a great specialist and a number of test results that helped lead to a diagnosis in just a week. He's also not a medicine-pusher. He waited after I had a high blood pressure reading to prescribe medicine just in case it was only high when I was at the office. I took readings at home to prove it was necessary to prescribe medicine.

I went in for a free yearly physical and was asked if there was any problems I was having. I told him I get heartburn frequently and was wondering if I could be prescribed omeprazole, like I had been in the past. He then went on a long rant about how acid reflux can and WILL lead to cancer, in an attempt to scare me, and informed me I should go get a test he recommended. I've come to find out he charged me for two appointments that day, my free physcial and 230 dollars for telling me I might have cancer and to go get a test I refused. He is one of the most unethical doctors I have ever had in my entire life and I truly hope no one ever decides to give him a minute of their time, he will try to scare you in order to make money for himself.
