Don't think twice is TAVAR is an option!
Before I had the TAVR, I was slow and sluggish, and could not do my usual activities. Mowing my lawn had become a 3 effort deal when in the past I could easily do it in one go. No I can mow mine & have enough reserve to do my neighbor's as well! Now I can go without stopping and have lots of energy. Before the procedure, I was pretty well spent by 7:00 PM where now I begin projects at 9:00The procedure was a life save and is really a no brainer. Go in one day & out by noon the next. Much better than the alternative. The team at Fort Worth Heart are really a well oiled machine & combined with Harris Heart where my procedure was done, I can't say enough good things. Everyone I met was kind, caring, compassionate & took the time to attend to my needs.Follow up test where an EKG, Echo & consultation were all done in less time than it takes to retrieve your car from valet. The icing on the cake was that by the time I returned home all my results were already online.Kudos to all involved

Prior to having my valve replaced I was not getting enough oxygen, and was out of breath. I had pain in my chest and was tired all the time. Now I feel better. I still have anemia, but I am much better. I had felt bad for so long. I very much appreciate Dr. Burjonroppa and his gift. He saved my life.

Before I had my TAVR I could not even go to the grocery store. I could not talk when I was walking my dog. Now I can walk and talk at the same time. I am excited to start cardiac rehab. Everyone has been commenting on my color, asking if I have been in the sun.

Before the procedure, I was fatigued all the time. I could only walk a short distance. I was weak and depressed because of it. Now I'm getting better a little at a time. Every day, I know I am getting better. I can walk more than I could before an am getting stronger with cardiac rehab. I am no longer depressed, thinking I am going to die any minute.
