Worst Cardiologist in Texas
He never showed up for my appointment and his staff didn't know when he would be there. I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appointment and waited more than 30 minutes past my appointment time and he never showed up. You will make a terrible mistake by making an appointment with this doctor.

From the first appointment, through quadruple bypass surgery and recovery/rehab, I found Dr. Ramanath (and staff) are simply the best in Cardiovascular medicine. His easygoing demeanor, coupled with incredible medical knowledge, put my worst fears to rest. Literally.Saved.My.Life. Five years later, I still feel like I am 25 years younger.

Dr. Ramanath performed an EVLT and phlebectomy on me. There was no noticeable change post-EVLT treatment to my varicosities, and his phlebectomy failed to remove the main varicosities in my leg. In fact, there were small scars along the worst vein which he failed to remove during the phlebectomy. Dr. Ramanath was puzzled by the failed results in our follow-up appointment. While his bedside manner was good, I would avoid Dr. Ramanath for varicose vein treatment. I feel bad giving Dr. Ramanath 1 star because he seems like a good guy, and has strong credentials, but I am highly disappointed by the lack of results from his varicose vein treatment.

Dr. Ramanath is an excellent physician. He is very caring, with exceptional knowledge in his field. He has treated me since 2015 for cardiac disease, including putting in a stent in my heart, treating me for a heart attack, and cauterization of leg vein. He worked with surgeon for me to get a robotic heart bypass in 2017. With his excellent after surgery care, I have good coronary health today. I recommend him to anyone.

Dr Ramanath is excellent. I was having extreme pain in my legs and feet, primarily 1 side. After several Drs dismissed it as arthritis, a foot problem or possible pre-diabetes, he listened and asked alot of questions. He throughly explained what he suspected, ordered the appropriate tests and fixed it immediately. He is a very thorough, compassionate and empathetic. He also has a great bedside manner and a wonderful sense of humor. He might be the most intelligent person I've ever met. But he is easy to talk too and doesn't make you feel ignorant. He doesnt rush you. He also uses the portal very effectively. I appreciate that.

My 25 year old daughter was recommended by her thyroid dr to Dr. Ramanath because she had a very fast heartbeat. Dr. Ramanath said she had a mitral valve leak in heart and would need surgery to repair. It was a whirlwind of more Dr appointments, then surgery, then recovery, but through it all he was by our side and stopped by everyday she was in the hospital. He saved my daughters life and he was very informative, very compassionate and professional.

Dr. Ramanath is the best in my opinion. I thank him for saving my life 20 months ago. I had a five bypass surgery and recovered very fast. I now do landscaping work at 73 years old and some days push a mover for over 13 miles in 100 degree temperature. D Dr. Ramanath and his office staff are very thorough, kind and really care about your well being. Thank you Dr. Ramanath for being a friend, my doctor and always bringing your excellence. I really enjoy my visits to your office. Your the BEST!

Dr. Ramanath was recommended by a good friend. We went to see him and he was thorough, offered a variety of recommendations and kept a good eye on my situation. His nurse assistant is Amber and she is equally wonderful - responding to every request as soon as she has the chance. This will be a long term relationship as I have finally found a doctor that cares about me and my difficult situation.

I was rushed in to Emergency Room for heart attack. I was blessed that day to get Dr. Ramanath. I died twice on the table but he brought me back. He is a caring and compassionate man and has a great sense of humor. I woke up to his smiling face. He is very educated and trustworthy. When you are in his office he takes whatever time is necessary with you. You never feel rushed- he acts like you are his only patient. He makes you feel great about yourself with such warmth.

I'd been to 3 different cardiologists before Dr. Ramanath treated me on an emergency room visit (chest pains). None of them gave me the comfort level that someone with heart issues should expect. In the hospital and on a followup visit at his office, Dr, Ramanath was very attentive to my concerns, answered my questions, and, in general, gave me that comfort level I'm pleased to call him my cardiologist.
