Dr. Steven Taylor, MD

Dr Taylor is the BEST Endocrinologist there is!!! He saved my son’s life !! When his last Endocrinologist Dr Farencamp held his meter hostage and wouldn’t give it to him , Dr Taylor immediately equipped him with a pump. It’s saved him from monthly ICU stays with DKA or Lows ! It was literally monthly . Now in the past 5 years he’s seen Dr Taylor he’s been hospitalized ONCE! That because he was sick which avoidable raised his blood sugar. Dr Taylor CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS ! He also takes the time with each one and is not on a time clock allocated for each patient . You might have to wait , but that’s why! HE CARES !!!

Dr. Taylor is the best endocrinologist I’ve seen in my 25 years of having Type 1. Once I found him about a decade ago, I stayed put. He’s an extremely knowledgeable doctor who is also a wonderful person. He helped me improve my control over time in ways I could handle vs being a dictator- or shaming-type of doctor. I’ve never had a doctor of any kind listen as carefully to what I say than he does—he responds to your actual questions and concerns rather than waiting to speak at you, as many rushed doctors often (have to?) do. He’s always up to date on research, and current pump & CMG technology. He’s communicates clearly and thoroughly. Above all, he UNDERSTANDS down to the detail how difficult managing type 1 can be. Just the validation alone vs assuming that issues must be my fault is extremely supportive. Dr. Taylor is a true partner in managing my health.

I have nothing but positive things to say to say about the care I’ve received from Steven A. Taylor.Dr. Taylor was able to find some things off with me. Had it not been for his intelligence and expertise I would have never found out. I will never forget his words and how kind he was when he told me I might had cancer, He is a busy DR, but He cares about his job, and he is good at it. In no time, he had me referred to a surgeon for removal of my thyroid and through the years has made sure I visit him as regularly as needed.I cannot thank Dr. Taylor enough, And he also very nice and sweet person.

Dr Taylor takes his time to explain everything very clearly and answer any questions you might have. He promptly calls with lab results and explains what they mean. I’ve never had a doctor that was so responsive and knowledgeable. He truly cares about his patients.

My first visit with Dr. Taylor lasted an hour, and it was clear that he genuinely cared. He responds to portal messages promptly and thoughtfully.

Dr. Taylor is the best of the best. We are so grateful for his insight and thankful for the outstanding care he provides our mom.Dr. Taylor bedside manner is very comforting and each visit is molded to the stage that moms diabetes requires

Dr Taylor is hands down the best endocrinologist I’ve seen. I’ve had quite a few from the age of 9 to 32 and he has been the only one to really help manage my diabetes in a way that fits my lifestyle, not the other way around. The staff is also always very pleasant and easy to work with.

Very attentive answers all questions and explanations are in laymen’s terms.

He was thorough and on time to my recent appointment with him. Left plenty of time to ask pertinent questions. Checked on me after my surgery.

I appreciate how well he listens and engages in conversation and allows the patient to consider options. I feel heard and this is a great quality. He’s an excellent doctor!

You will not find a more knowledgeable or caring doctor in general. As an endocrinologist, he is cutting edge and does not take a cookie cutter or lackadaisical approach to you as a patient. He is extremely responsive and respectful.

He was very thorough, listened carefully and explained what were the possibilities for my condition. He clearly outlined a plan for my future care. He’s also so nice! The resident working with him and his staff were also terrific.

The doctor and staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Taylor is knowledgeable, personable and caring, he is very communicative and takes the time to understand any issues/conditions and then thoroughly explains any treatments/solutions. I have a peculiar form of thyroid cancer and have had quite a few doctors. Dr. Taylor has been incredible, and is one of the best doctors I have dealt with, regardless of specialty. He actually listens and genuinely cares. He himself, along with his staff, follow up in a very timely manner. I also do not feel like I go to pointless follow ups that are just cash grabs to charge my insurance. I would highly recommend him and am happy to have him in my corner
