Very patient and detailed
Dr Yen is very patient and kind. He explains the condition well. Our family just moved here last summer, I feel lucky to find him in Austin. Also feel thankful to my neighbour who recommended Dr Yen to me.

Bad experience negligent of his patients
Terrible experience, they gave me appointment on 10-28-2024 at 10 am, and they told me to go to the south entrance then took the elevator then go to the third floor, so when my appointment day came, I called to confirm the address and they told me my appointment is canceled, I asked why she said I don’t know, then she kept me on hold for 10 minutes waiting then the line get disconnected , after that I called back again and they told me we contacted you on Saturday but you didn’t confirm the appointment, I told her Saturday is a weekend, then I told her I am coming over anyway, so i arrived to the clinic and asked the front desk why my appointment is cancelled, she responded that the doctor do not treating your case , then I asked why you didn’t reject the referral 10 days ago from the beginning , she said i don’t know talk with scheduling department, the people who work in yen clinic are careless don’t care about patients, terrible treatment unprofessional and doctor yen is the worst

Outstanding Physician ~ Sherwin Yen, MD
Dr. Sherwin Yen has provided outstanding care to me for many years to keep my thyroid healthy! Dr. Yen is a very friendly doctor with a strong personality who shows genuine interest in patients. I have used both ZOOM-type meetings and office visits and they both work well. His physician assistant, Sean, is top-notch as well and very responsive! You can trust Dr. Sherwin Yen! On a scale from 1 to 10, he’s a 10!

Let me first start by commending Dr. Yen for making time to see me as a type 1 diabetic patient after a recent diagnosis, even though he had no availability. The reason for the low rating is that, every appointment I have had with him in the last year (4-5 visits) we lightly go over my lab results and then proceed to talk about pumps/meters for the rest of the visit. The entire conversation seems to be driven by financial incentives for him as a practitioner to push pharm A,B,&Cs latest product

I just called Dr Yen office and the scheduler was not helpful at all.She did not care and she did not try to help. No option just a 3 months away appointment. She told me all Dr are booked. I work in healthcare and I know for a fact...the professional side of every situation is do whatever you can to help. Very dissappointed.
