He is very good and he does not hurt you.

I chose to go see Dr. Schaeffer after reading positive reviews online, and I am so glad I did. He is friendly, explains things very thoroughly, addressed all my questions, and made me feel very comfortable. I didn't anticipate needing surgery, but when I found out it was necessary, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Schaeffer made me feel supported through the whole process, and I am now on the road to recovery. I wish all my doctors had his bedside manner! My only criticism is that he could use a slightly upgraded office (he deserves it), but it wouldn't prevent me from choosing him as my provider.

Before surgery, nice, caring, says he would be there for you then bam, gets paid and your out the door. Had surgery, my metatarsal bone was snapped in surgery (not what was supposed to happen) and only 1 x-ray, a couple visits and he won't see me unless I pay. He told me if I had any problems, just come on in and he would be there, not. I have problems, it hurts a lot. I don't think the bone in healing but now need to find someone else I can trust. Don't waste your time. Really disappointed.

I had a bad experience with a female podiatrist also in Moon, and 6 months after her ingrown nail surgery, I needed surgery again. I went to Dr. Schaeffer this time, and he was fantastic! He did everything completely the opposite; he was friendly and humorous, gentle, respectful of my fears, and he took the time to look at my toe and not only advise a permanent solution, but follow up and make sure it was healing properly. The office was also clean and the staff kind. I won't see anyone else!

I been experiencing ankle and foot pain for 5 yrs. Dr. Schaeffer listens to you. Finally got MRI and needed foot surgery. I even was going to a pain clinic and another foot dr for 16 yrs with no results.

I would highly recommend Dr Schaeffer! I have had the best experience with not only Dr Schaeffer, but his entire staff! Dr Schaeffer not only cares for his patients on a professional level,he takes the time to get to know them as well. There've been times I've been sitting in a room waiting to see Dr Schaeffer and I have heard him when he's entered other patients rooms, he knows everyone by name, he treats everyone like they are the most important person in the world and I love that!!

Exceeded my expectations for a podiatrist. Offered many options for treatment. Very caring yet knowledgeable.

Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Schaeffer! He's a great Dr willing to do all he can to help his patients.

I was referred to Dr Schaffer due to an ingrown toenail. I also have mild toenail fungus. We discussed several ways of treating it. When I called the office and attempted to relay a message regarding a different treatment protocol t staff members were very rude to me and would not allow me to clearly explain my question and concerns. They continued to cut me during my 3 phone calls and never offered to have the doctor contact me directly. It was extremely frustrating and unprofessional
