Dr. Kane has done multiple surgeries on me from a really bad motorcycle accident. He is the best of the best when it comes to orthopedic surgeries. The man saved my life on February 27, 2011 at Atlanta medical. Just a great surgeon and a good person…..

Very Pleased with the Health Care Provided
Appointments with WellStar specialty physicians are 15 minutes long. By writing out my Achilles rupture history and prior treatment in bullet points before the appointment, I was able to answer Dr. Kane's questions quickly and efficiently. He, in turn, quickly provided me with a diagnosis and treatment plan after examining my leg and reviewing my X-rays. He recommended a nonsurgical plan, which was my preference. Office staff were friendly and efficient. I was very pleased with the care he and his staff provided.

Dr. Kane definitely knows his stuff, but his bedside manner could use some work. I had several appointments with him, pre-op and post-op and he consistently talked only to my boyfriend when he started speaking about the medical aspect of everything. He made no eye-contact with me except to ask the question, "You know this is going to leave a scar, right?" As a student in my third year of medical school, I found his demeanor offensive and off-putting.

Dr. Kane has done many orthopedic surgeries as a result of a serious accident that pretty much destroyed me physically. He is one of the most competent individuals you will ever encounter. It's a shame he is so far away. Atlanta has the best doctor in orthopedic surgery, bar none. He is without peer!

Dr. Kane and his entire staff were quick, professional and polite. My son had seen another doctor first who immediately recommended surgery for a shoulder pain. Dr. Kane reviewed the MRI and said that surgery would be the very LAST resort. He wanted him to do lots of PT first which is what we wanted as well. It appears that surgery is not his go-to recommendation as it seems to be for some doctors. I can't praise Dr. Kane and his team enough, and I will certainly recommend him to others!
