The whole appointment felt rushed and dismissive; I'm not sure how I can trust a doctor after expressing concerns for both my mental and physical health and feeling like only one was taken into consideration. "Nobody wants a colonoscopy" was not a great thing to say to someone who's used to 'no' never being respected, especially after I had already established my reluctance due to past trauma. I wasn't made aware of any alternatives, whether or not there were any at all. I didn't feel like there was any other choice, and I didn't understand why there wasn't one. It also really got my hopes up after the PA assured me that young people don't usually need colonoscopies and that I shouldn't have to worry, and it really crushed those hopes when my worst-case-scenario came to light. I'm glad a rectal examination wasn't insisted upon at the visit, but regardless, I've been a wreck ever since the consultation.

Well, when I first went in to see Dr. Ellison, everything seemed to be fine, but when i went to have my egd done I was told I have mild gerd so I called up to the facility and I spoke with the nurse and kept saying my symptoms may be due to something else. Well, since speaking with the nurse I have made an appointment with another doctor because my symptoms are not considered to be mild. I have severe abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, and fever. That's not mild at all.

I would recommend Dr. Ellison to any of my friends or family. I wish I would have found him 15 years earlier.

I went in for a procedure that is considered routine these days & should not have been a tremendous amount of out of pocket yet it ended up being around $4000 (that's after insurance) AND the procedure that I went in for twice wasn't done properly. I ended up seeing another doctor who confirmed it wasn't handled properly and has since performed the procedure.
