Dr. Timothy Mecredy, MD

Dr McCredy did two endoscopies within a three month span for my dysphasia diagnosis—with second at the beginning of 2024. While on the surgical bed in both cases, he said he would look at the findings further in his office but my esophagus was normal. In neither case did he ever follow up-no calls or appointments or anything. In the first procedure, I called him three weeks later still in much misery and scheduled a follow up visit. He said he didn’t find anything so there was no reason to call me. I had been waiting for a follow up visit to determine my next step. This diagnosis is very painful and debilitating. Additionally, MRIs, CT scans, barium and numerous other workup have discovered multiple esophageal issues. My wife asked if these were concerns? He responded that the esophagus was normal and those issues were “functionalities”. It’s now about six months later, I have lost 24 lbs (down to 142lbs) and still no relief. I’m scheduled to see a specialist in another state in July.

Dr. Mecredy is an excellent Dr. I have been going to him for many years. He is extremely compassionate, and he truly pays attention when you are talking. I find that rare these days. I would highly recommend him.
