Missed diagnosis
Dr Kang said I had right naviculocuneiform joint arthritis and recommended a cortisone shot. A second opinion indicated that I have PTTD (Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction). PTTD clearly matches the symptoms I presented.

Best Achilles Tendon Surgeon
My daughter ruptured her achilles tendon in early July 2022. Several other doctors can not locate where her tendon was ruptured. Dr Kang quickly found the location of the rupture,pointed it out on the MRI image. He then did an excellent minimal invasive surgery for her achilles tendon. My daughter is recovering very well now. Dr. Kang is extremely competent, kind and professional. I highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Kang has been exceptional. He immediately put me at ease with his extensive knowledge regarding my particular injury. Everything was well-explained and I had the utmost confidence in his ability to perform my surgery. He did a great job following up with my progress and making sure my recovery was going well. I wish I had more stars to give!

Dr. Kang is an excellent doctor. He not only knows his specialty but is very personable, friendly, and puts his patients at ease. He explains his diagnosis and treatment plan in plain terms that the layman can easily understand. Although I was in extreme pain on my first visit he immediately put my wife and I at ease.

I can't even express how amazing Dr. Kang is. I've dealt with many doctors over the years--many of them arrogant, or too busy to spend time with you. Not only is Dr. Kang extremely skilled in his practice--he's also the nicest doctor I've ever come across. I came in with a broken foot from a 17 foot rockclimbing fall, and he has always taken time to answer questions and educate me. Even my PT was like 'your doctor is so detailed in his notes! Most doctors spend no time on giving us instructions!

I broke my heel and was referred to Dr. Steven Kang by my GP. I feel like the luckiest person alive to have Dr. Kang taking care of me. He is kind, compassionate and ready to listen. I never feel rushed. Dr. Kang has had to operate on my foot three times due to unforeseen set backs. I never felt fear going into surgery. I have so much confidence in him. I trust every decision he has made for me. I wish I could give him 100 stars!
