What's the problem?
I am a former patient of Dr. Lazarou and I phoned the doctor's office to follow-up on previous treatment. I phoned one week ago and was told the scheduler would contact me - when that didn't happen I phoned a week later, this morning. The receptionist once again told me that I would be transferred to the scheduler, but then I was told she was on the other line and would get back to me. It's 6:00 PM and once again no return phone call. I find this non-response especially to a patient to be not professional, not ethical, and disturbing. Least of which - the receptionist dealing with my phone call was rude.

Great office, superb providers
My husband and I have been going through fertility treatments and Dr. Lazarou, his PA Zoe, and the administrative staff have all been wonderful! It's so nice to deal with an office where you don't feel anonymous and can talk to an actual person when you call.

It's easy for me to give Dr. Lazarou the highest rating as he has been outstanding in every way. I have been seeing him for several years and have been highly impressed with his competence and demeanor. In fact, he probably saved my life. During a visit a year ago, an ultrasound procedure was performed to assess the size of my prostate. The ultrasound was then moved to my kidneys "just to check," even though I had no indication of a problem. Within 15 minutes, Dr. Lazarou determined that I had a mass on one kidney. He immediately scheduled a CAT Scan for the following day. After it confirmed the mass, he immediately referred me to one of the top kidney surgeons in the country. He did this after-hours on the Friday before the 3-day Labor Day weekend! I am cancer free today.

I was referred by my primary care to Dr. Lazarou who recommended and performed a procedure four months ago. It took couple of months before I felt a relief. I had a follow up this week and Dr. Lazarou was kind and attentive. The treatment has been efficient and the whole experience was pleasant. Even though there were a few patients at the same time, it took only thirty minutes for check-in, two tests, meeting with the doctor without rush and check-out. Kim and other staff were also nice to me.

We saw Dr Lazarou for IVF sperm retrieval from vasectomy. The day we arrived for the procedure my husband got some cold feet about potential side effects. Dr. Lazarou immediately put on the pause and gave my husband the needed space to process his emotions and we decided to postpone the surgery to another day. At no time did he or I feel as if we were pressured, or that Dr Lazarou was irritated by the situation, in fact was able to comfort both of us. procedure went well and frozen sperm worked!

I've been Dr. Lazarou's patient for over 4 years. He's been great. He's treated me for an enlarged prostate with excellent results. I've also received testosterone therapy via Testopel pellets, again with excellent results. His staff are also great.

I have been going to Dr. Lazarou's for 4 year now and love it, I go every 3 months for a testopel shot. They have great services, excellent equipment and are always fast. The staff are very friendly, I have seen some change over the years but all have been great to work with. I have never had a problem with health care and payments.

The Dr. himself is good... knowledgable, patient, calming. Everything else about his support staff is not. After complications with my procedure, I made a couple calls to ask questions, and his assistant didn't seem to know much at all, as when I made further appointments to see the Dr., the assistant's advice both times contradicted the Dr. After one of the follow up visits to be seen for the complication, I was prescribed pain medication, however as I am writing this over 24 hours later,
