I’m usually never someone to write negative reviews.. but I had a very negative experience during my visit with Dr. Herr.I had to wait 30 min after my appointment to get in & when I did, Dr. Herr made me feel SO rushed, did not explain anything clearly & literally told me that I’m taking time away from him to make money with next patients!! .. he told me to leave & he will call me back later in the day to answer my questions!! Absolutely unprofessional & a disappointment..

Dr. Herr Met with us within 15 minutes of our appointment time. He Was cheerful asked direct questions and was all you could ask for in a doctor.

Patient, did not seem rushed, eager to share knowledge.

Everyone that works here is wonderful. The nurses are sweet and the NP is amazing. I had work done by Dr.Herr and he explained everything to me. Answered any questions I had never rushed me , made me felt heard .

I was not totally satisfied even though a new fiber supplement was suggested which I had never been given, the doctor did not delve deeper into my problems nor examine me thoroughly. I have had several bouts of irritability bowel syndrome in less than a month, which leaves me terribly exhausted and weak. It takes me three or more days to recuperate , missing work etc. My regular doctor, Matthews, who knows more of my past health challenges, was not available. I am not satisfied with the care and would like more assistance in getting answers for the causes of my gut & bowel problems, so as to feel better.

Referred after a positive Cologard - Dr. Herr offered multiple options for further testing without jumping immediately to a colonoscopy. He was timely and matter-of-fact. Explained things well, with an excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Herr was warm, thorough, articulate and informative.

He was very pleasant, showed interest in my problem, gave background to help me understand various ways to treat this.

Dr. Herr listened attentively and ensured all my concerns were addressed.

Dr Herr did my colonoscopy 5 years ago. This time he has instructed my to do the simpler process of sending stole samples to the lab.

I had my first visit with Dr. Stephen L. Herr and it was a complete fiasco. He was not concerned at all to hear my medical complaints, all he seemed to want is to put on several medications disregarding how I felt about taking them. He lack empathy for my pain and suffering. Since I had a different opinion on which medications I’m willing to take he was done with me if I wasn’t willing to take solemnly his medical advice. He was unkind, condescending, and lack patience. It was a horrible experience never in my life I had encountered a first patient visit where I left a doctors office in worst shape than how I came. Felt humiliated and very upset to have wasted my time and energy on this visit.

I chose Dr. Herr based on all the positive comments patients have shared about him, and he gets good reviews for good reason. He’s thoughtful, friendly, and listens to patients. The nurses and staff in his office are helpful, and all of this together led to a positive experience for my first colonoscopy. It makes a big difference when you feel you can trust your doctor, and Dr. Herr cares about creating that trust.
