Unprofessional
I wish I had read these reviews before going to the appointment. We waited and a half hours after our appointment time to be seen for less than 10 minutes. Very disappointed and unprofessional to run an office this way.

Very frustrated with lack of his caring and doesn’t do enough testing when we tell them something is wrong. Does not return phone calls and sees you for 2 minutes and rushes you out.

Finally an answer!
For the last two months I have been trying to schedule two procedures ordered by the doctor. After waiting longer than normal, I finally received the authorization for one of the tests. I received the second approval several weeks ago, but any attempts from the staff at Simi Hospital to contact the office, to obtain more information , were in vane. First the staff needed an “order”.. but that wasn’t really the case. The tech who would be performing the test ,finally got them to admit that they had used the wrong code, so now we start over again …at Dr. Amadpour’s office . I found out yesterday the reason for all of this. It started weeks ago.. and that is also why no one was answering the phone. The whole office staff was let go! Yes, the whole staff. The new staff is trying to answer all the ignored calls left on their ans machine “Michelle” is now at the front desk, trying to cope with what has been left unanswered, unattended, not followed through on. She is very nice.

Answer the phone, or, at least, call people back
Every time I call, no one answers. I have to leave a message. After seeing Dr. Amadpour, he told me I needed a procedure and that once I received the referral authorization, to call and make an appointment for the procedure. I have called and left messages on four consecutive weekdays and left the information they asked for. I have still not heard back. I am rating their customer service as I have not had a procedure to rate yet. I certainly hope HE is much better at his job than his office staff is.

Terrible Morals
I did work for Dr. Moe at his house in Malibu. He stiffed our company for $90,000 after the work was agreed upon and completed. You would think that he is a doctor he would have more respect for people working for him.

Dr. Amadpour is an excellent doctor. He has excellent communication skills and bed-side manner. I had a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy at the Simi Surgery Center and everything went as expected. The staff at the Simi Surgery Center is excellent too. Grade A+ for everyone involved.

While he may be a good doctor his from office is horrible. He has been told but nothing has improved. They don’t return calls -they don’t code things correctly-they don’t care. They even close during open hours & their receptionist is talk (gabbing) in the back leaving the front office without assistance.

Dr. Amadpour is fine, but his assistant and office staff leave a lot to be desired. I called 6 times to his assistant and never received a return call. I had to drive down to his office twice just to get some answers.

I was so happy to finally get in to a specialist, then I met Dr. Amadpour and my excitement was drained. He brushes you off when you talk. He talks to you like you should already know how to fix your issues or should have magically been able to diagnose yourself and prescribe the right medications. Every time I see him I feel as though my care is declining and he spends only 3 minutes with patients. There are signs all over the office about thorough care. 3 minutes is not that!

Would not recommend. I had to wait for 90 minutes past my appointment time. Based on comments from others in the waiting room, such delays are standard practice. When I was finally shown to the exam room, I was told by the nurse that I was next, but heard the Dr visit two other rooms and talk to a drug rep before coming into my exam room. The doctor was either very distracted or he has severe memory issues- he kept asking me the same questions over & over again. I won't go back.
