When I went to him, he did not seem to care for my concerns. For my blood test, he put a note to the insurance company saying the test was done due to the patients request and made me pay completely for that tests. The second time, his aid at the office told me not to ask questions from him as he does not like patients to ask questions. if the patient can't ask questions, what's the point of going to a doctor? May be google is better than him. Never again!

His bedside manner is lacking. He is too quick to prescribe antibiotics and antidepressants for issues that do not need them. He doesn’t listen to his patients, he is rude and condescending.

Dr. Grindel has been my primary care doctor for ten years and I really like him. He has a dry, witty personality which I find really funny (I think it is his dry wit that some people take the wrong way). Anyway, I've always felt he was very thorough and listened to my concerns. He knows what he is doing and has a great instinct. He takes his time and doesn't come across as super rushed like a lot of doctors.

Just saw Dr. Grindel for the first time since our regular Primary Care Physician was out of town and NEVER again! He is dismissive and completely disregarded my concerns about my son's health. I know my son, and when he runs a fever for 5 days straight something is wrong, it's not allergies! He was rude and condescending. I feel that he was treating me poorly to impress the medical student that was shadowing him. I am a pharmacist and will never recommend him to my patients. He is a waste of time and my $15 dollar copay.

He's just repulsive. Never see him. I have lupus and when I go into a doctor I expect poor treatment and disrespect because of my age (20) and gender (female). I went in to see him because he was the only doctor available; I'd just passed out at work. He was so busy interrupting that I had to repeat myself constantly just for him to ignore me again. I got a bit angry and when I left I checked my patient portal- he diagnosed me with anxiety because I didn't behave well enough for him. Disgusting.

We are so pleased with dr Grindel and so happy to have him replacing our previously retired physician at the same location! We loved so much our previous Dr and we're very upset when he retired but fortunately we've got amazing, professional, knowledgeable, caring, kind and very friendly Dr Grindel!

This physician is dismissive, rude and condescending. He was either unwilling, incapable of, or too lazy to address my husband's increasingly deteriorating health status. His behavior toward him at his most recent appointment was downright abusive. I am certain we are not the only ones who have received such poor treatment from this man.

Been my doctor for over 20 years. I couldn't ask for a better physician. The staff has changed over the years at this clinic and is not as friendly as they used to be. Calling to make an appointment within a reasonable amount of time for anything acute is like pulling teeth this past year. Was much happier with the office when they could work you in if you needed an immediate appointment. I am looking forward to Dr Grindel leaving Via Christi and moving on to his own practice.
