Kind, intelligent, and helpful staff all around. Front desk got me checked in with a reassuring smile. The nurses got me into the exam room with hospitality and professionalism. Dr. Hampl was punctual and eager to help with my concerns. Great office for primary care.

Dr. that cares about his patients.
Dr. Hampl has treated me and my family with total professionalism and honesty. I recently had a colonoscopy that Dr. Hampl did and called me the next day with results rather then the normal 7 days of worrying. There is a reason why he is so busy, because he is good and is at the top of his game.

1st visit -I went to Dr. Hampl for follow up after an ER visit due to respiratory & neurological symptoms. The ER physician ran tests but determined I could follow up with my PCP. (I haven't been to the doctor in 2 years as I'm very healthy.) I told Dr. Hampl my current symptoms. I also told him I have anxiety. He looked at the test results & said they were normal. He did a routine exam, asked questions & determined my symptoms are due to anxiety. I know anxiety can exacerbate symptoms. I also know my body and it's not anxiety. However, I agreed to take a med he prescribed for anxiety. 2nd visit 3 months later -I let him know I still have the same symptoms which have become more frequent. When I asked if he knew of anything else that may be causing my symptoms became defensive. He told me I should increase the anxiety med. I feel he saw anxiety, some normal test results and determined it's in my head and he isn't going to look further. That's disappointing in a physician.

Dr. Hampl has been a God-send for our family. His care for my wife's difficult health problems has allowed our family to experience moments not possible otherwise. He is willing to coordinate and fill out any paperwork necessary to ensure continuous care for her. He has a heart of gold and is always willing to encourage us through whatever we are walking through. Appointments sometimes are slower than I'd like, but it's likely due to the amount of time he spends focused on the patient.

Dr. Hampl saw my son for belly pains at the ER and diagnosed him with constipation from only an X-Ray and sent him home. After vomiting all night, we went back to the ER, where they struggled to get an IV in my son due to dehydration; after blood work, ultrasound and CT Scan a REAL doctor and one that cared enough to do REAL testing found my son had appendicitis and needed surgery. NOT impressed by lack of concern or even doing basic labwork that would have shown elevated WBC.

Staff is friendly and office is neat and clean. We moved from Seattle to Andover and Dr. Hampl came highly recommended by my wife's eye doctor. FLAT OUT - WE LOVE HIM. Always upbeat. Listens and encourages questions. Makes sensible recommendations and is easy to talk to. So far we have needed him for routine things, and we are confident that when the time comes for his help with the serious life decisions that we know will come, we are confident of his support.

The young nurse had great difficulty figuring things out. She acted curt and clueless. She slammed the door on my wife and I. Then Dr,. Hampl shook my hand and first thing asked in a stern pissy tone What did you do to my nurse? He was mad. He was not a very nice man that day. I have 4 level spine fusion and secondary progressive MS. I am the sick one right? Well that day the baby nurse cried to the dr. and then he took it out on me. geezalou!!!! That nurse most likley cost me as a patient.
