I’ve never felt so rushed and dismissed by a doctor. I waited three months for an appt for a very irritating skin issue and he wouldn’t even let me explain the issue before cutting me off that it’s just eczema and he was going to call in a “big tub” of a steroid cream that I’d already tried and didn’t work. I was also there for a full body check because I am BRCA2 positive and have a high risk for skin cancer and he told me to “keep my underwear on” and didn’t even fully check the back of my legs or upper body…. What kind of dermatologist is this? Pathetic. I wanted to believe the good reviews, but I had the complete opposite experience. I couldn’t get a word in and was rushed out of this office before my appointment was even supposed to start.

I felt very rushed, and not listened to - was referred to him by my PCP for skin issues. When I returned back a few months later to my PCP, he told me that I had a different diagnose, and the prescribed treatment had exacerbated my painful skin on my feet, which I was aware that the steroid cream was not appropriately prescribed for me, and had chosen to stop it since it was clearly not helping my skin condition. I felt like Dr. Couture was dismissive in his brief interaction with me. I will not return to this MD ever again. His office staff were all professional and kind and caring. It took nearly 2 months for me to be seen once the referal was made by my PCP, and I was suffering with extremely painful skin on hands and feet.

he was so dismissive. horrible bedside manner. talked to the PA in the room, not to me. insinuated my skin issues were in my head. never going back there.

I saw Dr. Couture as a new patient, specifically for a complete skin exam. I am a redhead, & my doctor wanted me to get a complete skin exam. Dr. Couture asked what I was concerned about, looked at the back of my upper arms where I had a few spots, & 1 spot on my back, he said the spots on the back of my arms were probably just ingrown hairs because of my "old age" (55 yrs old) & he didn't see any concern with the spot on my back. He then billed my insurance for things he did not do. I have good private insurance, which he clearly took advantage of, since he billed them for almost everything on my Lewis Gale chart that was listed as 'overdue' - he indicated he addressed them. When I asked about the complete skin exam, he said he didn't see any concerns to warrant that. He saw me for less than 10 minutes, enough to show his awful bedside manner & arrogance. Dr. Couture is primarily focused on selling cosmetic and skin products - not on caring for patients' medical needs.

Dr. Couture and his staff are the best. He has been very helpful to me with my medical problems and his staff is fantastic. I'm treated very well on every visit and I enjoy interacting with all the staff. Every visit is a positive experience and I highly recommend Dr. Couture.

My visit was to have a mole looked at . The staff was very efficient and kind. Time of visit was not long. Treatment was provided.

My appointment was May 7, my 6 month check-up. I had to change the time and was able to keep my appointment for later the same day. I was checked in and my wait time was less than 15 minutes. The nurse was very nice and friendly. Dr. Couture took his time, answered my questions and completed my exam. I have always been treated with professionalism and friendliness when seeing Dr. Couture and by his staff.

Lewis Gale Physicians could take a lesson from the procedures, I experienced in my recent visit to Dr. Couture's stand alone location. Let's begin - easy to reach by phone. No "steel curtain", no long list of prompts, speak with person almost immediately. Covid 19 : Am an at risk senior and was very concerned about this visit. INSTRUCTIONS: Park in space outside. Phone to announce arrival. When they are ready, Staff member comes out, walks me directly to exam room. All there wearing masks, as well as I was instructed to do. Impeccably clean facility. Highly efficient system. Even before Covid 19, have always been anxious about picking up germs, flu or colds, or other, in waiting areas. Stay outside, wait for either staff member to permit entrance or phone and go directly to examining room. Would like to see this procedure used by other providers and continued post Covid 19. Impressive.

I have been to Dr Couture several times for different issues. All the people in his office have always been very polite and understanding. He explains in detail, your issue and what he is going to do, in a way you don't have to be a doctor to understand what he is saying. I can usually get an appointment when I need it and I've never waited more that 10-15 minutes to be seen. Thank you Dr Couture!

Was experiencing a rash on a small area of my neck. Tried to get an appointments with my PCP but he was only doing telemed. Called Dr C's office and he was able to see me that morning. His diagnosis confirmed my suspicions and he called in an Rx for me. I have recommended him to a friend who is now a patient of his as well.

Very professional care provided by Dr Couture and staff. While maintaining the commitment to his patient's physical health, he takes the time to understand your whole being. I very highly would, and do, recommend Dr Couture.
