Best Doctor I've Ever Known
When I started seeing Dr. Schluter my vision was completely gone in my left eye due to high inflammation followed by antibiotics. Dr. Schluter spent two hours with me treating my eye with drops, encouraging me about the path forward, and listening compassionately as I shared my difficult journey to her door. She saved my eye. My vision was completely restored over the next several weeks. Every follow up visit, I am tempted to ask her to get together for coffee because I want to be her friend. She is top of her field professionally and top class as a human being. I appreciate Dr. Schluter so much and would highly recommend her.

Skilled opthalmologist and caring professional.
I got an emergency referral to Dr. Schluter and was in her care within about 2 hours, over her lunch break. She is a highly skilled opthalmologist and a most caring professional. Although a relatively young doctor, she exhibits an old-school professionalism and "bedside manner" I have not seen in the United States in my 40 years here. She is exceptionally personable and spent much more time than she had to explaining what was going on with my affected eye. She even emailed me a few days later to check up on my progress. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

The Best
Dr. Schluter, in addition to excelling in her field, is kind, caring, and professional- and does not schedule patients at 8-minute-intervals. She has resolved every issue, and I can’t even imagine going elsewhere.

Dr. Sonja Schluter has been my family's ophthalmologist since we moved to this area 7 years ago. I was referred to her by the Society to Prevent Blindness and have had superior care - can't ask for a finer experience every time I see her.
