Do not recommend
Dr. Patel did not want to listen to any concerns as I did not present with extreme symptoms. Will not return.

Quickly flips from friendly to doubtful
Dr. Patel at first was quite friendly and seemingly understanding of current symptoms. Was made aware of pre-existing conditions, past diagnosis's and concerns. Then flipped a switch and did not believe past diagnoses. Past diagnoses were 3+ years old. By a specialist with more experience than her. Genetic testing has been done that confirms past diagnosis. Yet the Dr. made me feel she didn’t believe I had any of the diagnosis I stated I did nor symptoms. I recommend for people who have similar experiences with this doctor to find a practitioner who has more experience. Patients are more than exactly what your textbook says. Maybe if I would’ve presented with edema , shortness of breath, and age 65+ I would’ve gotten the proper care. Maybe in 10 years she will be an excellent practitioner.

Excellent cardiologist
I was referred to Dr. Patel by Dr. Dhawan. Dr. Patel found an aneurysm in my aorta and has treated it successfully for 5 years. She is professional and skilled in finding and treating heart issues. I highly recommend her and the Heart Place for anyone needing a cardiologist.

Terrible bedside manner. After doing my heart Cath she said she didn't want to follow up for 4 years. My dad was diagnosed with CHF at 50 and ive had htn for 20 years at this point. I was 48. She acted like I wasted her time for being cautious. Any pt who's had htn for 20 years and has a huge family cardiac hx should not follow up in 4 years. She was rude and short with me. I stopped using her clinic after the heart Cath incident. And for the record the heart Cath said "concerning for ischemia" in the results. Which I only knew about because I saw it on my chart.

Terrible cardiologist – Nov 30, 2019

Dr. Patel is an angel. She is kind and listens to you and guides you through whatever the problem. A lot of doctors pay no attention to the older patients and just do not listen to them. She is patient and spends time with them and listens to their fears and concerns. I would recommend her to anyone without a second thought. She is everything you could ask for in a doctor. Office staff are also very special people. Jesse, Fredda, and Mike

Upmost confidence in Dr Patel. She listens and she cares. She has been my cardiologist for about three years since my cardio doc retired. She was also my mothers doctor. She was very compassionate and caring during the final weeks of my mothers illness. Feel so blessed to have her as our families cardiologist.
