Horrible experience
Dr. Thavaseelan is rude and incompetent. Almost killed me on the operating table when she asked them to give me a drug I am allergic to. thankfully somebody else on the surgical team caught the error and told her I was allergic, and her reply was 'sometimes the benefit outweighs the risk' to which the staff replied' not if it's an anaphylactic reaction like she explained it was '. she angrily stormed off, and the two staff members start talking about her and say, ' how stupid can you be?' and then the mask went directly on my face to put me to sleep as I was about to have a panic attack. hands-down, the worst medical experience of my life. Also, If you book a tele-health call at a certain time she will ignore the time and repeatedly call you before 8am until you answer the phone because that's the time that is convenient to her. She ordered labs for me, I went in a couple days later and then it took her over 6 weeks to get back to me with the results. avoid her at all costs.

Dr Thavaleeson Review
At first I thought she was abrupt and cool, but when I had to have a more complicated procedure done, she was professional and caring. She was reassuring and kind to family about my care, and even gave us advice as to potential issues down the road. I highly recommend her. Wouldn't want anyone else.

This physician has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced! Is totally disinterested in the patient, does not listen to what patient is saying and seems totally detached from trying to provide sound medical advice to patient. Would give her ZERO stars if that were an option!

Mistreated Patient – Dec 15, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Thavaseelan?
She invited nurses, and young students into an exam, of me that in my opinion was not proper. She never explained what she was going to allow, never asked me if it was ok. This was 3/4 years ago and recently I had reason to call and ask her a question and she could not take the time to talk to me, even though I had called her nurse and asked her to call when she had the time as I had a quick question about my surgery. I asked the the nurse the question I had so that she could be prepared. She called a couple of days later and acted as though she was in surgery and could not talk. “Make an appointment, make an appointment “
