Three visits with no update about my condition . Sent me to three different test - no result. Requested result of my visits ..receptionist Betty claims she sent them to my ARNP but no results ! went to asked her second time ..she was even to the point of being aggressive confrontational trying to charge $1.00 per page . Informed her that I called the county & she then gave them to me as if she was doing me a big favor ! Totally wrong attitude .

My appointment was at 3:30 today, I arrived at 3:20 and knocked on the door. The receptionist came to the door and told me I had to wait until 3:30 to come in due to COVID. She said she told me not to come early over the phone when she called and reminded me of my appointment. No one called me to remind me of my appointment. I waited outside until 3:30 and then knocked on the door. I signed in and the receptionist, named Betty, opened the sliding door to take my sign in sheet. She was not wearing a mask. I asked her why she wasn't wearing a mask. She said she doesn't need to since she is behind the sliding door and closed it. A few minutes later, she opened it and told me with attitude that she put her mask on and closed the door. Dr. Kamat didn't see me until 4:20. I waited in the waiting room for 50 minutes. Would it really have mattered if she let me in 10 minutes early? If I did have COVID, it could've been transmitted in that 50 minutes. 10 minutes wouldn't have made a difference.

The staff is extremely friendly and only waited a few minutes before being called back to see the doctor. Dr. Kamat listens to your questions and answers them honestly without delay. A+

I have requested my medical records and test results several times over the past 6 months. No response and no records received to date. Dr. Kamat fell asleep in my last visit with him when he was reviewing my MRI results. I had to wake him up at which point he forgot what he was doing. I have never had an experience quite like this office and provider. Very upsetting. Now I have to start over with another neurologist. Dr. Kamat is either tired of practicing medicine or just stopped caring.

My appointment was at 2:45 and was not seen until 4:45. There were only 3 people in the waiting room. Not sure what he was doing back there. Probably surfing the web.

I requested medical records 5 months ago from Dr. Kamat's office and every time I call down there I am told the doctor still has yet to sign off on the records to be released. This is completely unacceptable. He also seems to hire the most uneducated and incapable people he can possibly find, as his staff usually has no idea what is going on. I would stay as far away from Dr. Kamat or any other office he has connection to if you are looking for a responsive and capable physician's office.

Walked into a packed and hostile waiting room. Patients loudly complaining about wait time. My appointment was scheduled for 12 noon so I arrived 15 minutes early. First thing I had heard upon walking in was someone complaining that hey have been waiting since 9:30AM. I waited until 2PM and still had 4 people ahead of me so I left and will find another neurologist. This doctor had bad reviews across the board on social media and online review boards all for the same issue: bad patient appointment management.

I waited 2 1/2 months for an appt. I needed to see a stand tried to tell them it was urgent. The fact that I agreed to wait so long indicated my brain was NOT WORKING RIGHT. Time passed. I went in today was ignored by processor who did not listen to any patient who came in. They had no knowledge of the MRI report sent to them . I had them resent in minutes. I waited over an hour and realized the line was not moving. Other clients all grumbled they always waited a minimum of two hours before being seen. I waited another hour and a half, only one patient (and 1 drug rep) was seen in that time, everyone else was still there. Why do people put up with this? I left.

Yes I had wait. That is because the Doctor spends so much time with each patient which I prefer. It is do you his expertise that I was diagnosed properly. He then took apon himself to refer me to a great neoraligist but stayed in touch with me right up to surgery. That's what I want in a Doctor. As to his receptionist Betty is nothing but friendly and caring.

Unfortunately the receptionist has a patient stay at the window while other patients come in. There is no privacy at the front desk. I do have video as well since there's no privacy practiced. 7/10/18 from 11am to 2:30 she ( Malinda ) was up there being allowed to mind other patients business

After waiting an hour to be seen...the reception says he would not see me because of blood work I forgot to get done. I came in for the results of a MRI... But not only that even if i was to get the bloodwork done, he never told me where to go to have it drawn. So i have to wait another month and a half for the results of an MRI.

The wait time is extensive, however the doctor spends quality time with his patients, listens to concerns, really reads any medical records you provide, does a full and thorough exam and answers questions. I have been to other doctors and have had short wait times only to be hustled in and back out by the doctor. So when it comes to quality of care I dont mind the wait time. The staff was friendly, but be prepared for strict policy and procedures. They have a large patient load.

He is a liar and his office manager is just as big a liar as he is. I was addmitted to Saint joes main hospital thanksgiving after a severe fall. I was released 3 days later and he verbaly cleared me for hip replacement surgery on Dec 06 .well he never put it in writing and he wouldn't clear me for surgery cause i didnt make my follow up appointment with him. We made the follow up with a diferent doctor cause his office manager didnt bother to return our phone call till 4 days later.

Dr Kamat treated me for back injuries for ten years, until I moved away. I've waited in his waiting room for over two hours for some scheduled appointments. And his office staff may not all be terribly polite, but he LISTENS! I never left his office with questions unanswered. I always felt that he genuinely cared about my wellbeing, because he asked questions to clarify my problems...and listened to me.

I don't understand how Dr. Kamat could allow such horrible people run his front office. The woman behind the glass was beyond rude and condescending. I even overheard her talking to a co worker in the same manner. She showed no sympathy toward my situation whatsoever. When I tried to ask her questions and understand what was gong on, she had the nerve to raise her voice at me. She snatched the paperwork away from me when I finished. The whole ordeal left me uncomfortable. Do not waste your time.
