Not great care
I was referred to Dr. Patel for a fungal issue (I had had a scrapping done at another location). She took one look and declared that I had eczema without doing any testing. I insisted on having a scrapping done and she said that she found no yeast activity and said that it might be because of a shampoo I had been using and proceeded to give me directions for eczema care. I now have a more extensive fungal issue that I am going to a different office for treatment for. I have a darker skin tone, so she might not have been used to how things present in lighter-complexioned patients- who knows. Either way, I was very unimpressed with the quality of care I received.

I would not refer a family member because she gave no pertinent information, but rather referred for a "second opinion". As a physician I would have appreciated an opinion from her first. It was a waste of time.

I met Dr. Nanda in the IHA Dermatology practice at Domino's Farms near Ann Arbor. She was friendly, sympathetic, knowledgable, and efficient. She explained things to me clearly and talked about the meds she would prescribe. The prescriptions were phoned in right away and were ready for me to pick up in an hour. I think she's my favorite dermatologist already (I've had a lifetime of treatment).
