Very disappointed. Sarcastic, arrogant prescribed wrong rx for lenses after cataract surgery. Complications after surgery, still. At a complete loss as to why she became very defensive when complained about my complications. I will be sure to read reviews on any suggestions I receive regarding the next ophthalmologist I see. It will certainly not be her that I see .

I wish I had read reviews before ordering glasses.
I needed new glasses following eye surgery. Dr Jick gave me prescription and I had it filled at her office . After two tries staff were unable to give me the proper correction. Practice manager said that they don’t give refunds on glasses. I’m out several hundred dollars. Profit before patients.

On the day of appointment I was instructed to call from the parking lot upon arrival. Did so, called the number provided, no one answered the phone. Waited 10 minutes, repeated the call and again no one answered. I had to call the following day, since they did not call me. They apologized and offered to reschedule the appointment, for another 4 weeks out.

Dr. Jick is a great doctor and a wonderful person. She is a very thorough, attentive and gifted Doctor. When I had an emergency, she fit me in immediately. I feel it is a privilege to be her patient.

I've been a patient of Dr. Jick's since September 2016 am very happy with her beings i'm a Glaucoma patient she even referred me to a specialist to be certain she wasn't wasting both of our time on unnecessary test would definitely recommend. She's honest with her patients even sending patients for a 2nd opinion.

Dr. Jick is a caring, compassionate and intelligent ophthalmologist. I trust her not only with my own eyes, but with my children's eyes, too. She is very thorough in her examinations and follow-up testing, and she is excellent at explaining conditions in layman's terms. It is so difficult to find physicians who are both intelligent and caring, and Dr. Jick is both. I have referred several friends to her and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking an ophthalmologist.

I would agree that Dr. Jick is highly knowledgeable in her field, however I have experienced impatience, as well as a dose of arrogance from her on more than one occasion. I would not recommend her for dealing with children. Her staff, on the other hand, has always been wonderful. Wait times can range anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Facility is top notch. She is a solid diagnostician, but the attitude really needs improvement.

Dr. Jick has treated me for five years. She is knowledgable about all aspects of the eye, and diseases and medications which affect the eyes. The staff are welcoming and professional, and the optical department is outstanding. I have never had a better ophthalmologist.
